No. 68 Akron Zips: The Zips were selected to win the MAC regular season this year after receiving 11 of 12 first-place votes in the preseason media poll. Guard Ali Ali and forward Enrique Freeman, both seniors, will lead Akron this season with plenty of experience. Ali transferred in from Butler in the offseason and should pair nicely with Freeman, who averaged 16.8 points last season.

So the only chance at a home game is a Zips win, Xavier loss and Creighton loss or tie. Both Xavier and Creighton have tough road games so at least it's within the realm of possibility.

Something a little funny a little tangentially related to this game - at least we didn't post a picture of Hitler on the scoreboard (I realize ours was an away game) in a game we got shut out 49-0 causing one commenter to remark "Michigan State put more Hitlers on the scoreboard than points is quite the rivalry Wikipedia entry" 😂.
