    Got to spend the day riding in the cart with John Poe, the wide receivers coach. He is very optimistic about this years receivers corps. He is confident that D'Orazio will step in and take over for Suel on the inside. Dillard and Pratt are the front runners for the outside receiver spots.

    Last time I played Medina CC it was called Rawiga CC. A T-storm blew through and while standing under a shelter a bolt of lightning struck a nearby tree. After seeing that, I always stop playing at even the slightest chance of a lightning strike. Today is going to be a soggy mess.

    These guys should be happy that the USFL is stopping them from flushing all their money down the toilet(Rubber Bowl). If they are that desperate to blow that kind of money, they could always pay for my kids college.

    Got a phone call today from Brian Walsh. He was calling to see if I was attending the Golf outing in August. He is going to be a GA with the team this year while finishing up work on his masters Degree. KD sure does treat his players right and he was very appreciative of being able to still be a part of the program. Great kid!

    You guys do realize that some players agents pay for their clients to be "Invited" to the combine.

    I would guess that the coaching staff could care less who gets the credit for landing good players. If they think they can use LeBron to their advantage I guarantee they are going to use his connection to KD. They would be fools not to use the connection.

    The only reason Gilbert fired Brown the first time was desperation. I think he thought if he could convince Phil Jackson to come, Lebron might stay.

    Congrats to Zipsnation member GoZips for being named the fan of the year at the banquet tonight. His work on the Coaches for Cancer wristband sales was much appreciated by the coaching staff. If you ever really want to know whats going on with the basketball program, GoZips is the guy who would know.
