The coaching staff can't make any comments about recruiting until after signing day this Wednesday. KD was asked about Abreu but didn't give a definite answer. Honestly, the entire program was hampered by a really poor PA setup. It was very difficult to understand what was being said by anyone at the podium.
Thanks everyone. There a lot of loyal fans of the Zip's basketball program, so in receiving this award I was very surprised and honored. I have really enjoyed the last ten years since KD came on the scene. The previous 20 were somewhat of a basketball wasteland so I cherish every victory. It will be great when the program takes the next step and consistently wins in the post season and I plan on being there to root them on.
I would compare him to Hundley. North-South runner and tough to bring down. I saw him several times and he was a guy who the more carries he got the better he ran.
I thought I read somewhere that he was a BC commit but after they fired their coach last week he is open to other offers now. Can't find that anymore though. Edit: He had an offer from BC. Story Here
This would be a great get for the Zips. KD's big pitch would be that Robotham would be the starter from the day he steps on campus. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one. It would also allow Williams to be penciled in at the 2 guard instead of the point.
I predict we will have another player TBD at PG next season. I would like to see Deji become our sixth man with McAdams and Jackson splitting the 2 guard position.
Did you write this in your sleep? We already had this discussion, remember? All we would have needed was one basket in that eight minutes and we win the game. The defense was fine. Go back to bed.
After OU's loss the other night, Christian said on the postgame show that Wingfields career was over due to arthritic knees. If this is true, I feel bad for the kid. Not so much for the team. Bobkitty attack
This is a ruling by one guy at the NLRB. It will take years for this to go through the appeals process. I would expect Congress to step in if it goes too far. The only people who will benefit from this ruling are the lawyers who started this whole issue. Go to pay off those student loans somehow.
