Need to get the educational ranking up in order to increase applications/enrollment. It's hard to get the ranking up with budget crises caused by declining enrollment. We're in a bad Catch-22 and yes, we lack corporate support let alone state support. Hopefully Nemer can recognize the issues and formulate a plan of action.

I can't wrap my head around the idea that players are coached on what to do and ignore the coaching and do what they want. Giving the benefit of the doubt to both sides, it may be an optimistic hope that someone can break free to the house on any given punt return.

I would take a hard look at Keith Dambrot or John Groce. Both are proven successful head coaches, recruit good players and assistants, instill discipline, and know the UA landscape. Applying their skills to a different sport would be very doable.

AFAIK all of the Ohio public universities' trustees are politically appointed.
