  1. The flip side is we won't be facing a Finn or Rourke or Gabbert for 3-4 years straight.
  2. likely a 17 point swing in the score. Of course they probably had a few mistakes that might have offset some of it but we should have covered the spread.
  3. Look at the stadium, field house, weight rooms, locker rooms, coaching salaries, campus enhancements.... to put it kindly, I disagree that there's never been a commitment to building the program. GP1 is talking about bounce houses for the families, Zips Walk, etc. which are apparently the missing piece (and which I'm totally in favor of).
  4. K. Mumpfield left just before the current coach but is now a captain at Pitt w/ 100+ yards vs. Cinci. https://www.tribdem.com/sports/pitt-football-wr-konata-mumpfields-career-day-draws-praise-from-coach/article_e85df98c-6fcd-11ef-bd3d-ef0577c0a87a.html
  5. Help me to understand what this means. How is Toledo accomplishing this?
  6. That was some good foresight of our muffed punt and red zone interception!
  7. How so?
  8. 1. I didn't know teams could change the clock rules by agreement. 2. Did the fans all leave after the halftime band show a la OU? 3. How did UT only score 6 points in the 2nd half? 4. There should probably be some kind of mercy rules at the NCAA level.
  9. All the more reason to reduce the volume. I would hate to have to get a personal injury attorney involved.
  10. I won't be able to attend but if anyone is so inclined, I would be interested to know what the blaring music decibel level is, especially at the south end. There are phone apps that allow you to easily measure it.
  11. My understanding is it will not be a 'power' conference but rather a G6.
  12. Anyone that watches college football knows you can't extrapolate singe game performances across the entire season. PSU will lay a big egg at some point and likely end up as a playoff bubble team.
  13. Wow, the serify A looks great up there! Can you pan left 90 degrees and give us another shot? 🙏
  14. Did you notice there's no mention of whether it's tested and working, and nothing about the east stands ribbon board? 😄
  15. Maybe a new wide-screen video board will draw a few. I hear work has begun on it. Haven't heard if it will be ready in 4 days.
  16. In 1817, the Baptist Education Society of the State of New York was founded by thirteen men (six clergymen and seven laymen). Two years later, in 1819, the state granted the school's charter, and the school opened a year later, in 1820.[13] The first classes were held in a building in the town of Hamilton. Three years later, in 1823, the Baptist Theological Seminary at New York City incorporated with the Baptist Education Society and subsequently changed its name to the Hamilton Literary & Theological Institution.[14] Among the trustees was William Colgate, founder of the Colgate Company.[14] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colgate_University Expenses, 2024-25 Tuition: $69,886 Student activity fee: $420 Room (traditional residence hall): $8,504 Board (unlimited meals): $9,106 Personal/books (est.): $3,306 Total billed costs: $87,916 https://www.colgate.edu/about/colgate-glance
  17. there ya go, Dayton and akron to the BE. Nicest stadium in non-scholly FCS.
  18. That's not benefitting the students and fans who want to attend games and tailgating events and the local communities/economy/workers that depend on business from gameday crowds.
  19. When P4s stop scheduling G5s/FCS and go on the road to play other P4s, leaving half of the P4 stadiums empty on Saturdays in September.... well, I'll believe it when I see it.
  20. 56-0 final. If I saw it correctly, Tosu had a 1st and goal on the WMU 1 to make it 62/63. They must have let up.
  21. CMU losing badly to FIU in the 4th... didn't see that coming.
  22. Joe Buck. Then again I'm not watching BTN..
  23. BG up 24-20 over PSU at the half.
