Looking at a mid-major poll like this, I would surmise that the top 8 to 10 would be worthy of talk of an at-large bid. We sit at 14. That said, "Win 3 in Cleveland"...
I gleaned that
a) (13:40) the Akron community loves UA
b) (11:30) the new AD doesn't necessarily have to come from an AD position; it's more about the person (he or she)
I parked at Lot 9 for the soccer playoff game with no problem and thought I'd do the same for last night's bb game but there was a police car prowling around the area and I wasn't sure if it would be OK. I didn't see any game parking signage at the deck and wasn't sure if it was available... finally I googled it and found that it was. Which is quite nice and convenient. Apparently the season ticket parking passes also allow access to the Lots 2 & 8 surface parking but $200 GA season tickets would buy 13 GA admissions (w/free deck parking) and most fans probably wouldn't get to more home games than that. They should put parking info signs out for occasional attendees and visitors.
After what, 6 months since the MWC expressed interest in inviting their football team? Something tells me the MAC will let their olympic sports stay if they end up otherwise homeless.
That and the snow kept me home. Kind of a shame that out of the approx. 8 months of the Zips' sports year, about 5 of them are during mostly crappy weather.
We're probably not Catholic enough for the A10 but if it gave us a little extra bump in recruiting we'd probably have as much chance of getting to the big dance regularly as winning the MAC. Duquesne won it last year and Dayton got an at-large.
