    The petitioning school apparently did see the benefit of keeping their other sports in the MAC (probably travel costs, as kreed said). Otherwise they could just find their new conference home and leave, dropping (down) their football program.

    ...deserves its own thread. If you haven't tried one of their new burgers, they're actually very good. Arby's vouchers could be a promotional giveaway for the Zips. And for probably around $1M we could maybe become their official college sports program.

    I'm surprised Fordham would have any trouble attracting good hoops coaches, being in NYC/East Coast and having very strong academics. But maybe it's a two-edged sword in that they place their emphasis on the academics and not so much the sports.

    I give KD a lot of the credit as well for getting us established. Also, as I understand it, UMass will also be able to bring quite a bit of NIL funding to bear on the MAC starting next season.

    probably just a matter of time before one of the lesser conference champs declines their spot in the NCAAT to participate in one of the mid-major tourneys. KSU is arguably having more fun in the postseason than what we did.

    It's too bad the Quaker Oats Co. isn't interested in preserving that part of its history. But it's true that more / decent / affordable housing in walkable settings is needed.
