I have a very hard time believing that these drugs just happened to show up at Abreu's house when the cops had a sting going on. I hope I am wrong, but it sounds like they have been on to him for a while. The timing though, is amazing.

That is the conversation that I have been having with people. If he really was selling that much weed his teammates HAD to know. Also, this would be very hard to keep secret from students at the university. He is too high profile of a student. Something is really strange about this.

I think more guys on our team have been arrested than theirs.

Just to add on to this point, he also noted that of the teams that were running this offense and rushing for over 200 yards, the difference that we didn't have was a mobile quarterback. Texas A&M, Baylor, WVU all had mobile qb's.

Amen...I cant wait until Tuesday and Friday and the tourney....these guys will regroup. I have complete faith in that.

It is just so frustrating to finally get respect in this area. People in the Cleveland - akron area finally stopped talking about OSU and Akron was being discussed. I was out tonight for the game and it was amazing at the amount of people that were talking about the zips. It all vanished in one night against Buffalo. They instantly turned into the same shitty school that we have always been. I am so pissed I cant even explain it.

Because I would rather watch ECU, Navy, Cincy, UConn, USF, UCF, etc... at the rubber bowl every Saturday than Eastern Michigan, Bowling Green & Buffalo

Unfortunately, it wouldn't be the first time that I would be embarrassed at one of our football games. Worse case scenario I will be really drunk the next day drinking all of the beers of the world at epcot. It could be worse.

My flight and hotel is already booked for UCF.....lets get this going already.

Treadwell is an absolute monster and Kretzer played like a senior. My chest pains just need to go away now and all will be well.

I watched them against Belmont. They aren't very good. We just have our head up our ass.

It is hard to comprehend how we come out so strong and just flat out go in the tank. OU is playing twice as hard as we are. A blow out loss here ends any thought of an at large bid and doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy about the tourney. We need to beat these guys to get it in their head that we are better. The last thing that I want is our guys knowing that they have lost the last 3 out of 4 to these guys. The mental portion of the game means A LOT, especially in college ball.

While that was nice, it isn't remotely as satisfying. Soccer is a 2nd thought for most, while basketball is the 2nd most popular sport in college athletics. This basketball run has done more in raising the profile of our universities athletics programs than winning soccer titles ever will.

I was watching the Cincy-Notre Dame game yesterday afternoon and they had Akron as one of the 4 "you don't want to dance with me" teams.

I don't think any of us has any clue how good of a job Tressel is doing and it isn't really fair for us to be too critical at this stage of the game. We have no idea what is going on with a new arena or if there is any money lined up. Unfortunately, we all have to play the waiting game until an announcement is made about what the universities plans are in regards to an arena. Only then can we truly judge if he did his job.

The game was also at Northwestern, who by the way played OSU to a 75-73 score there last year. We have one common opponent this year, being Penn State. We slaughtered them by 25, while OSU struggled all game and eventually pulled out a 65-51 win. The game was about 5 or 6 points with 2 or 3 minutes left. I am not saying that we beat OSU, but saying they would easily beat us by double figures is laughable.
