That is hilarious

The only thing I read about in EVERY article about this game is that Akron has no chance because of "havoc". It really shows how these guys have no clue what is really going to happen, so they just repeat the same thing the other so called experts says. Reading this stuff over and over again really makes me like our chances.

Just got my call and I have my 2!!! I have two ok seats in section 213 row 7 that I no longer need if anyone doesn't get a seat and wants to buy them. I will sell them for what I paid. I don't want to make money on Akron fans.

I think Pat is too much of a turnover machine at this moment to risk it.

I sucked it up and bought "decent" seat on stub hub for about $100 each. If by some miracle I get selected in the UA lottery, I will sell my stub hub tickets. The prices are only going to go up and I am sure as hell not getting let out of this one.

You are exactly right and this is why I am confident that we can win. Akron has been playing some tremendous defense lately. The PG combo of Harney and Betencourt is a huge step on on D from Abreu and the addition of a healthy Chauncy has even ticked that up another level. Chauncey is flat getting after it on defense. We have a large size advantage, so the keys for us are playing great D, which keeps them out of their press and dominating the interior on offense. VCU struggles in their half court defense and there is no way that they want to have to guard Zeke and Tree pounding away on the inside for 40 minutes. However, if our defense has a let up and VCU is scoring, we could be in trouble because that press is nasty.

That sucks. I guess they want absolutely nobody watching that game on tv.

VCU is a small team and they struggle in half court defense. They struggle with big, athletic teams. That is exactly what we are. It all comes down to their press against our bigs. I like our chances.

This is pretty disappointing that so many people on here feel that we have no chance to win. How have so many people lost faith in this team already? I just listened to Zeke on STO and he sure as hell feels like we are going to win this game. I pray that Treadwell reads this thread. It should be just the trick to light a fire under his ass just like the T last night.

If Diggs cant come back next year, Dambrot may want to look at converting Harney to the full time point guard for the next 2 years. I know we have Evans coming in next year, but MAC schools would never be able to match up with an athletic 6'8 point guard. That is a complete game changer.

I saw that. My question was which Akron players made excuses that we lost? I don't remember seeing that. I don't understand why Evans made the comment.

Where did this come from? I don't recall any of our guys making excuses.

I would be happy playing the best in the NCAA tourney. Nobody in the MAC is the best. I want to get to the tourney first and then I am all about playing the best. Besides, we are the best in the MAC. We can't play ourselves. : )

They scare me too, but I have a really hard time believing that they can beat Akron all while playing their 5th game in 7 days.

I may have to stop in there Friday. A few of those look pretty good.

I have watched his leadership grow as the season has gone on and I really saw it last Friday against Can't. The one moment that jumps out at me was when Harney picked up a stupid foul that sent him out of the game. Treadwell showed his displeasure with Harney and you could see the look on Harneys face that he felt like he let him down. He is really turning into the alpha dog and floor leader out there and I am extremely happy that he will be around for another two years.

Garage bar is no longer, it is now Nano Brewery. It was purchased by the owners of Bier Markt and Market Garden Brewery. They have a few of their own brews on draft, but they have a very nice list of micro brews from around the country.

Typically the judge will explain the charges being brought against the defendant. We should have a little better idea of what he is looking at. You are right though, we probably wont hear much from Alex.

The only times we have really struggled lately with Melo in the game is when Dambrot puts another sub-par offensive player on the floor with him, ie..Ibatayo at the #2. Melo is a very capable defender and has shown that he can be a good ball distributor. I think the success of this team without Alex is based on who Dambrot puts on the floor with Melo. I believe the other key is Melo staying out of foul trouble, Chauncey stepping in to fill the void for Alex's perimeter scoring and the continued maturity of Kretzer and McAdams. McAdams is going to have to play more minutes and be productive.

Possible. That is the thread of hope that I am holding on to. We should find out more today after he appears in court. Does anyone know what time that is happening?
