  1. Based on his Hudl, he looks like a burner/player. Tyreek Hill was my initial comparison, and I stand by it.
  2. Adrian Martinez is mentioned but it's a list of 3-4 players that all transferred to where their girlfriend plays sports.
  3. Do we have any female athletes with star football player boyfriends?
  4. FWIW, Jullian Lewis is "1000% committed" to Georgia Tech. Not sure how smart he is considering he just committed to a coaching staff on the Titanic, but he at least knows how to work the weather app/Google on his phone. "Akron, OH, weather... That's not Celsius?! Yiiiikkkkkeeeeesssss... Hey GT, I'm committed. 100%. No. 1000%."
  5. Visit on the 28th. He's apparently "warm" on Akron, and has other offers from FIU, FAU, and Coastal Carolina. Love the name. Looks like Tyreek Hill.
  6. Oh snap. Who could this be?!?!
  7. I can't remember where we're putting offers, but it looks to be a busy day. Coach Bell also met up with Ted Ginn Sr. I can post screenshots tomorrow once I'm not on my phone, but here are the names I saw from Tweets... Jabari Mitchell: 6'3" Athlete from Reynoldsburg - Dijon Jennings teammate? Holds offers from several MAC schools Jermaine Foster: 6'0" WR from Glenville (Probably why Bell was with Ginn Sr.); Holds offers from Kentucky, Michigan State, Miami OH, and Toledo. Arvell Reese: 6'4" LB from Glenville (again why Bell was with Ginn Sr.); Holds offers from Charlotte and several MAC schools Ziaire Stevens: 5'10" RB from Akron Community East; holds offers from Indiana and Pitt. Damarion Witten: 6'2" TE from Glenville (another reason Bell was with Ginn Sr.); Holds offers from Kentucky & Michigan State.
  8. Agreed, and it looks like the bonding these guys had might've landed us Landers, who excites me a ton. 6'5" Punter? Damn. Throw 20 lbs of muscle on this kid and he could lay some massive hits on guys, should they get that far.
  9. Agreed and this is disappointing to me. During the years of X1.0, LCJ, Cheese, Banks, etc., I thought the program took great strides in the off-seasons with strength & conditioning. Disappointed to see most of the guys in this group the same size as last year.
  10. This did not age well. Apparently awful, low-scoring games are just in EMU's DNA, no matter who the coach is.
  11. Offensive rebound - how do you not call a timeout/get the ball into the PG's hands? I hate Ali iso.
  12. When did Aziz start to be able to make free throws?
  13. X has found his game. He is becoming quite the guard.
  14. They were effective... at putting people to sleep. 54-50 final scores against that zone... don't miss that. @LZIp 1000% agree about the frosh guards. Groce isn't against playing freshman guards if he's confident they'll contribute. He played Cooper his freshman year at OU and beat Georgetown in the NCAAs (lots of freshman on that team). I wish we knew more about the Mitchell/Johnson situation.
  15. Anyone else enjoying 3 games per week? I could easily get used to this.
  16. Zero issue with him scoring then.
  17. Ford is not going to have a fun bus ride home.
  18. Where was this shooting against KSUcks?
  19. Did they crop the video at all to prevent the public from seeing the lack of attendance? Congratulations. One of the few.
  20. Yeah... That form is putrid.
  21. We are his only offer according to 247. He looks the part. Anybody have any insight on his recruitment (or lack thereof)?
  22. How cool. Who knows - maybe he develops into a scholarship player? At the very least, it lays the foundation to build a pipeline from the NFL Academy to Akron.
  23. I had speculated earlier in one of the threads about Mr. Lewis that there might be a connection with Reno Ferri from his time at 'Cuse. Regardless, I don't think JoeMo is unknown to these players. This is the guy that produced one of the top offenses in college football in back to back years with Saquon Barkley and Trace McSorley, ultimately sending Barkley to the NFL as a top 5 draft pick. He is as good of an offensive mind as any of the schools on that list have on their respective staffs, if not better. Not to mention his reason for coming to Akron is incredibly down-to-earth (family), and he seems very genuine. It's not hard to sell himself to recruits, and there are worse places than Akron in the world.
  24. @94zipgrad & @adzip thank you both for the explanation/clarification. I'm caught up and it all makes more sense now.
