It makes total sense why Trimble was such a detriment to our trap style of defense. If one person isn't committed, it really doesn't work.

Watching thereplay this morning. 1) Ironic that PCCC's long sleeve shirts say "NO QUIT" when the guy that posted the video (Johnson) reportedly went home when given the option to run or go home earlier in the season. 2) How was Davis not called for a flagrant foul when he threw X to the ground by his face on Santiago's 3? 3) Not sure where the announcers received their press notes (probably KSUcks), but they completely downplayed the entire story of the video by saying it was a freestyle rap. It was a legitimate, pre-recorded track that everyone knew the words to. 4) Carry was awful all night. X really deserves a lot of props for how he played and handled Carry's annoying self. He is my least favorite KSUcks player ever - and I'm not sure it's even close. Potentially more thoughts to come although I'm at 18-18 and it was basically all good from here on out. 😏

I say you make a Zips NCAA Tournament thread like you did for the MAC Tournament. Why limit it to just one game? 😉

Last thought of the night. Don't let KSUcks fans use Jacobs' suspension as an excuse. He comes in for the second half, the game gets down to a 1 pt game, then Akron pushes it out to a 14 point lead from there and it never again dropped below. Akron owned Can't State all night (except for the first few minutes of each half). Jacobs and Insincere are juniors. Next year will be fun (not to look past the NCAA Tournament this year - WHICH WE'RE DANCING IN!)

Akron beat 118 (Buffalo), 75 (Toledo), and 123 (KSUcks) to win the MAC. We're a 13 seed all day.

ESPN Bracketology 21 hours ago had KSUcks as a 13 seed. Akron would slot into that I'd assume.

As if tonight couldn't get any better! WOW!

Saw that. Their fan base is as big of a joke as their head coach. Akron just ran through the best of the MAC to win it all and kicked the "hottest team in the conference's" ass as the exclamation point.

1) Props to the team for winning with class. They could've gloated at the end and they didn't; they flat out ignored KSUcks as they should've. 2) Groce & co. coached their asses off. Unbelievable coaching job. Proud to have them. 3) KSUcks are a bunch of mental midgets and it showed. Once things stopped going well for them after the first 4 minutes. Carry not scoring after his skipping/dance antics is amazing. 4) Zips fans were AWESOME. They gave Jacobs absolute Hell when he touched the ball/shot free throws. I know I pissed off around 7 KSUcks fans around me with my loud cheering and tasteful trash talk. I think that happened around the arena, too. Zips fans were LOUD. What. A. Freaking. Night.
