I wonder what kind of deal Pinky made with the ABJ to have the article written in this manner. Hopefully Kent has a NIL deal with a cosmetics company for all the lipstick needed for this pig (and Pinky's rosy cheeks/clown makeup). "They are third in the MAC in scoring" Based on what metric? They are currently 325th in the country in Points Per Game at 64.6. Only NIU is lower from the MAC with 62.8 ppg (335th nationally). "fourth in 3-point percentage" Again, what? They are shooting the 3 ball at a 28.4% clip, which is good for 317th in the nation. Only WMU is lower from the MAC at 28.1% (321st nationally). In fact, coming at this article from a positive offensive standpoint at all is erroneous on all accounts (to quote the AK Rowdies). "How are the Golden Flashes doing it?" It ain't by offense, ABJ dumb butts. Offensive National Rankings... Effective FG%: 343rd Shooting %: 349th Personal Fouls per Game: 305th Lastly, citing bench production on offense as a key for Kent is incredibly disingenuous. Kent has failed to score 70 points in 4 out of their last 6 games (all vs G5, and all but 2 ranked 200 in NET), including a 39 point performance vs. UC Irvine. Their offense blows, and one of their main bench players is seemingly only coming off the bench as punishment for failing to stick at Furman (Jalen Sullinger), as he was their starting PG last year and an All MAC Tournament team member. If the ABJ wanted to cite Kent's defense, this would've been an acceptably positive article as Kent's defensive metrics are quite good (albeit against lesser competition as most of their opponents are 200+ in NET). The ABJ can reference this source the next time they want to try to polish the turd that is Kent State. Also, they should think about changing their name to the KBJ - Kent... You fill in the rest. z.i.P.S. Kent has a typo on their website under Jalen Sullinger's page. "2022-2024 season" The epitome of "failure".

Looks like he already has an offer from Oklahoma State.

By 13!!!! That'll help our NET. Congrats to the Red Wolves. -
But don't worry, Commish is focused on the right things to turn the conference around. I really hope he continues to crusade against flag planting and gatekeeping the MAC from legitimately competitive programs. I really don't understand the reaction to Albin's move. Lots of people on Twitter claiming it's a lateral move. - AAC is a far superior conference, especially financially. Their TV deal is worth tenfold per school what the MAC is getting. - Athens is to civilization what college athletics currently is to the word "stable". Good for Albin getting his family to a nicer, warmer climate for double the money.

Lol. Dude wanted to get to civilization.

Joe Dunn just said we find out today if Okonkwo gets another year of eligibility, and sounded optimistic.

Unless Finley surprises us all and transfers, I doubt we'll be in the market for a QB via the Portal. Tahj, Roggow, and the incoming freshman are more than capable of holding down the QB room should anything happen to Finley during the season.
-
Maybe it's extra motivation for Duquesne. This is basically 10 cent beer night, and the players don't want to end up fighting the fans.

The MAC won't go anywhere with this beta male loser as commissioner.

Class of '25 Verbal Commits

Save the majority of roster spots for the physically mature 20+ year olds, sprinkle in some stud freshman, and it's hard to complain. -
Kent State is using CFB 25 as their signing announcement strategy, and the players are all 99 OVR. Gonna be a brutal rude awakening when they actually get in the game next year and are 67s at best on the worst team in the game. 😂

Moorhead one of 3 candidates to be OC at Michigan??
Let'sGoZips94 replied to TennZip's topic in Akron Zips Football
You mean an unlimited NIL fund, no head coaching responsibilities, an incoming QB that is a JoeMo RPO wet dream, one of the top defensive units in CFB year in and year out (especially with Wink there now), and only a few hours further from where he is currently? The Michigan OC job is about as attractive as it gets. -
This is why Stanford hired Andrew Luck as their GM. Most G5s can't afford a GM, which will only add to the cavernous division forming between the upper echelon of P4 and the rest.
-
He's from Hamilton, which is literally Northern Kentucky.

Slept-walked through the final 10 minutes and still scored 86. We are an offensive unit this year.

So Akron was probably mid to upper 70s. Always hammer the over. 😂 Okonkwo is really coming into his own offensively. We have some nice depth in the post. Not the biggest guys, but they're figuring out how to play hard which is the majority of the battle down low. MMK is really getting comfortable too.

Does anybody know what the O/U was for the game? Or even the Akron O/U?
