All but 4 teams were above .500 last year. Missouri State, ironically, was not one of them. Illinois State, Youngstown State, and Southern Illinois would all fit within the geographical footprint the MAC is trying to maintain. I would absolutely take Illinois State. YSU would be fitting with PCCC & Akron. Their athletics seem to be on the up & up and they have a financial commitment being made.

Can the MAC kill the MVC and poach 2-3 of their schools so we can continue the consolidation of mid major conferences?

We need a relegation system because it's not P4 vs G5 that's the problem. It's Ohio State/Bama/Michigan/Georgia/etc. that are vastly superior in financials to everyone else. The bottom half or even 2/3 of every power conference are crap and barely better than G5, if at all.
