Last time the Zips beat NIU? 12/1/2005, known by some as the 2005 MAC Championship game.

We have had success against the Bulldogs before. The Zips are 2-0 against Mississippi State all time, with wins in 2005 and 2011. Let's make it 3-0! 💪

The game will be on ESPN3. Zips are 4 point favorites. SDSU will be an excellent challenge for us, so I hope we're ready. The Jackrabbits went 30-5 and were riding a nation leading 21 game win streak before falling to Providence in the NCAA Tournament last season. This is a GREAT out of conference game to open the season at the JAR. Go Zips!

This team has many good pieces but is yet to develop any sort of identity. This season is going to be much more crescendo than fortissimo from the get go. We'll learn a lot more about our coaches this season, I think.

Good response, as expected against an "inferior" opponent. Too sloppy for conference play, though, which, of course, is the reason for scheduling these "tune up" games. I'd really love to see the aggressive Bandaogo like we saw against WVU. No reason he shouldn't have numerous blocks against these guys.

Tribble is so athletic and quick. If only he had any semblance of a stroke he'd be lethal. Can't anyone help him with shooting mechanics?
