  1. Here is what I've found thus far. Please post if you have any information as to where our players are this summer. AFC Cleveland, https://www.afccleveland.com/club/squad/ Skye Harter Texas United FC, http://www.uslpdl.com/roster/show/3155350?subseason=376352 Joe Korb, Jackson Crawford Portland Timbers FC U23, http://www.timbersu23.com/roster/ Niko DeVera, Nate Shultz Seattle Sounders FC U23, http://www.soundersu23.com/Team/Roster Tor Saunders
  2. After I PM'd my response, it occurred to me to look at Tyler's facebook page. Since I don't have a facebook account, I can't see too much information there, but listed under other is Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
  3. It's great that Robbie and Kofi were both able to finish their degrees at Akron after leaving for the pro ranks. I knew Robbie came back to do so, but I was pleasantly surprised to see Kofi's name there too. Congrats to all 4 graduates. Happy to be able to call all them Fellow UA alumni! Best wishes to all, and best wishes to Tyler Sanda in Medical School!
  4. Attended my nephew's graduation at UA this morning. Per GoZips.com, I knew that Tyler Sanda and Goncalo Soares were graduating, but Zips Mens Soccer actually had 4 graduates. Tyler Sanda, Biology (summa cum laude) Goncalo Soares, International Business Kofi Sarkodie, Biology (summa cum laude) Robbie Derschang, Sports Science (magna cum laude)
  5. Many thanks. I did not know about the 2 years.
  6. Felt the need to repost this. It never gets old.
  7. Scott Caldwell starts the scoring for the NE Revolution!
  8. Great to see Chris Korb back for DCU!!!
  9. Always great to see Liz Trapp (3:05) ... https://twitter.com/ColumbusCrewSC/status/863409050817622016
  10. I assume that our schedule is still being tweaked to get the best teams that we can to put ourselves in position for an NCAA Tourney bid without the MAC AQ. The other teams in our "conference" don't concern themselves with that, but Akron has to do our best to maintain our high standards. Zips Mens Soccer can't just play anyone. (reference how well that worked for at large-bids for Zips Mens Basketball)
  11. The sad thing in all of this is that there will only be 5 teams in the MAC this Fall. As expected, the MAC couldn't replace Buffalo that quickly. So, no automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament for the MAC. As such, why even bother playing a MAC Tournament... ultimate WHO CARES?!!
  12. Revolution midfielder Scott Caldwell joined GoLocalProv's Molly O'Brien for a comprehensive interview this week https://www.revolutionsoccer.net/post/2017/05/12/watch-scott-caldwell-golocalprov-live
  13. If true, I think that's a newer development than end of last season. I believe Ali was still HC when the Zips played CSU in April. Sure sounded like him barking at his players.
  14. Looks like this new verbal commit plays (or has played) for the US U17's.
  15. Vote for Victor Souto, USL Goal of the Week.... http://www.uslsoccer.com/news_article/show/790330?referrer_id=2333971#.WRDx7pZq2Jc.twitter
  16. Brad had a co-op job, too. Kudos to Engineering Consultants Group, Inc. for giving a top-notch student athlete such an opportunity with what had to be a crazy work schedule.
  17. If WVU leaves, and the MAC goes down to 4 teams, I think Akron will have sufficient leverage to also go.
  18. Why would Kentucky want to leave Conference USA in favor of the MAC for Men's Soccer? I'd prefer Akron switch.
