The NCAA doesn't like the AK-Rowdies. At all. They're too aggressive and offensive. Same reason we had to go on the road last year. It's something that will continue until we can either put together a team that absolutely deserves a top-4 seed, or the student cheering section goes away. Screw the NCAA.

With Deji sitting due to injury, this might be the youngest backcourt the Zips have ever fielded for a game. Nyles Evans was ice cold last night.

The train tracks that run from UA to Can't State are gone. The rail bed is being converted into a bike path. I'm looking forward to its completion.

Looking everything over, I wouldn't be surprised to see Noah and Antino at the 1 and 2, respectively, for at least a few sets each game.

No televised home games this season. As a part of the MAC's new deal with ESPN, universities that don't have a quality infrastructure for internet streaming won't get their home games televised.

There are services that take take those small donations and consolidate them. It's called crowdfunding, and the past few years have seen it really take off as a funding strategy for big projects.

LeBron is in the process of getting the returning Cavs players (Kyrie Irving, Tristan Thompson, Dion Waiters, etc.) to unlearn the bad habits they picked up from playing on a losing team. It could take a while.

D'Orazio came in as a QB. Akron has a history of successful QB to WR converts. Maybe one or two current QBs could make the move.

Look at the roster. The only player that really has a complaint here is Reggie (I'm assuming that Tree will show up on the list soon, of course). The team is full is promising talent that hasn't proven anything yet. Only Tree, Kretzer, and Nyles Evans averaged more than 20 minutes last season.

There were 63 pass attempts compared to 27 rushing attempts. And for most of the game, the score was not out of hand. The offensive gameplan was a complete joke, given the weather and a receiving corp that has proven they can't hold on to cleanly thrown balls in ideal circumstances.

Seems like we can hardly schedule a quality team anymore that doesn't have at least one former Akron player on the roster.

I think AJ Milwee needs to take some responsibility for the playcalling. The offense has regressed every year. Bowden originally gave Milwee OC duties so he could work with the defense. The defense no longer needs that extra help, and the offense does in a big way.

The issue lost 56.3% to 43.7%. Do you think with an arena attached it would have been different?

BG has no defense at all. Jump out early and they won't be able to come back unless we turn the ball over.
