Why the hate for the Stroh center? What exactly was wrong with it? The lack of seat curvature only affected the east end. And it was very loud for a smallish crowd.

My first time at the Stroh arena. Very nice. How much did it cost and what's the capacity? The glass front is really pleasing to the eye, especially when driving by or walking up. You could see the pregame video from the parking lot which is sure to help local interest. The band/student section is nice too, and I didn't mind the lack of a center court jumbotron.

I saw him rubbing behind his ear on the bench and they were also doing a lot of shoulder strength checking. Maybe he hurt his neck more than his head?

Something seems incorrect in 2013/14 ooc attendance. No way we averaged 3900, I think that's Mac attendance

The fantasy that somehow we've been lied to and Pohl was still injured and unavailable needs to stop. If he was not medically cleared he wouldn't have been in pads. If you think he was underprepared from practicing only half the week, well, he couldn't do worse than 4 picks in a half.

I'm undecided on which qb to go with. What's Pohl's record over the last 11 games?

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents because I see this mentioned often with centers. I played LT in hs and college and often called the blocking schemes for the LG and blocking back if he was involved. Can any other linemen out there confirm if this was the exception to the rule? I played in a power I and a spread offense so it wasn't just the scheme.

A little ahead of schedule for the normal posts... but BG game, Zips in first place, 2 hour drive, fairly early Sunday start time, no football...

I didn't take a picture, but there's a new brewery in Heath (east of Columbus) called Homestead which is turning out some delicious beers. They have a tasting room that's only open Tuesday and Friday evenings, and distribution is limited, but if you're in the area at the right time you should check them out. Their thing is more easy-drinking unfiltered beers. IPA's, pales, lagers and amber ales that don't have too high of an ABV but a really great taste.

That's an absolutely fantastic showing! Both by number of bodies and rankings considering we didn't get hot until late when the weather got bad.
