of the 3 losses and 4 ties we are currenly at right now, only 1 of those games (Mich St), which resulted in a loss, was decided in regulation. what that tells me right there is that this team is not fully capable of finishing games when its most decisive. they seem to lack the all-out scoring ability we've had in years past and centralize around darren, which makes it much easier for defenses to coordinate. as others have mentioned and I have been calling for since the UCSB loss, someone desperately needs to step up to the plate and attack with darren, not wait and attack THROUGH darren. the upseting part to me is knowing those 6 games that were decided outside of regulation were all games in which we had multiple chances to put away the other team and failed. this has been a repeating theme this year and it bothers me to know that we STILL don't have it figured out. I thought the UCSB loss was going to shake the team, but I was wrong.

i feel for everything rizzo said. that guy is about as die-hard browns fan as any other person in cleveland; he's just afforded the unique opportunity to have his own radio show where he can put out there the frustration and disgust of the true browns fan.

IF... we eat his contact to get rid of him...IF... we're able to hire a solid coach who can actually do what's needed to win... andIF... iCoach's "stellar recruits" still somehow pan out...it would take another 2 years for anyone to right this ship, minimum. The chances of us bringing in anyone better than what we have now are slim to none simply because we're the worst of the worst. You want tressel? PIPE DREAM. He'd never come to a program like ours when he's got a solid gig working as a consultant for the Colts. Our best shots are trying to pick up a HC from D-2 or lower who's a proven winner.

i agree with fknbuflobo.. too much indecision in the final 3rd. luke seems to be the only one making plays while the rest aren't pressing. only when we went down 1-0 did I see them really try to fire at the goal.

whats the difference between the band and 1000 students with noisemakers on corner and free kicks close to the box? Isnt fan support via making tons of noise part of the game? Im against the band playing while we're on defense, but when we're attacking, we need to make tons of noise so the defense cant communicate... thats just my opinion since thats essentially what we do already sans the band.

great news... except for the fact that this is something he should have been capable of seeing in PRESEASON, if not within the first 3-4 weeks of the season. Pathetic that it takes until this late into the season for him to realize something like this...

the band annoyed the hell out of me. itd be one thing if they were off in one of the corners or at least there to complement the cheering, but they overpowered what little chanting we had going on. idk why but im getting really annoyed by a lot of things with this team and atmosphere this year...

I, as others are very much as well, am caught in between two thought processes regarding iCoach and this game.On one hand, I am infuriated that iCoach decided to go for 2 down by at least 2 scores. As others have pointed out, going for 2 gets you nowhere closer to victory mathematically than a PAT would. If he just goes for the PAT, now that means he only has to kick the PAT at the end to win. Instead, he was forced to go for 2 again to have any chance at winning the game. On a similar note, I am upset at his lack of faith in the players to continue theyre play into OT where they stood a better chance at winning the game than completing a 2-point conversion. Personally, I would have much preferred to see iCoach play the numbers, as most HCs do, and put his players in a position where they have the best statistical chance at winning the game. He FAILED at doing this yet again.On the other hand, I have admit I find it tough to be upset over a 1-point loss knowing that the coach when for the win instead of OT. Somehow he got us to the point where we had a chance to win a game and thats an improvement on other games this year. We've been clamoring for some time for iCoach to be aggressive and try to get the win... Now that he was and came up just short in the process, we're blasting him for not playing smart. WHICH IS IT? It cant be both ways. I sure as hell dont know which it is. I personally would prefer a coach that is intelligently aggressive - that is aggressive when it serves a specific and strategic advantage in putting his players in a position to win. Regardless... a loss is a loss and he's still only got 1 win against a FBS opponent. I cant wait for this building process to be over so we can bring in someone who can actually do something with the talent we have.

Agreed. Weather inevitably affects attendance regardless of the sport and our position in this region forces that hand. I too am happy to see our attendance is still up even with the weather getting colder and less "perfect"

thats precisely my point. taking weather conditions at gametime will only show a part of the story as you have the added variable of "marquee" matchups and the playoffs. It would still be another good way to look at attendance, I was just pointing out a valid flaw in the data such considerations would produce.

thats an interesting point as we all know that attendance lags when the weather is crappy...HOWEVER.... we had a pretty large crowd during the playoff game against Cal last year...

I am losing what little faith I had in some kind of turnaround with each second that ticks off the clock of each game. I am sorry, but Robby does not cut it as a head coach. Theres no excuse the pathetic show of football he puts on each saturday. I am a huge sports, college football, and namely Zips athletics fan... but I have lost damn near all my motivation to watch this team. Its unbearable...

This really was, however, an unfortunate string of events stemming from the fan who ran onto the field dressed as a referee, distracting said referees, and letting those players get into it more than they should have.But yes... I was disgusted at the lack of class on Arizona's part. Your team just got into a battle royale with the opponent on the field, two players get ejected from the game, and youre slaughtering a team by halftime, and youre laughing, smiling, and acting as if youre proud of what just happened? i think its highly unlikely he's going anywhere for a while. If theres a coach I trust to stand by his word, its Porter. I would lose a lot of respect for him if he were to weasel his way out of here for "greener pastures", and when i say "greener", i simply mean bigger money.
