alright...thanks for the help everyone. I'm hoping to get this figured out in a few days on a tape/DVD. I'm a UA student, so it's crunch time for me right now. So school is more of a priority right now, but as soon as i get my professors to back off or the end of semester, i'll get it done as soon as possible...

i have both OT's, but don't know how to record it from DVR to a tape or DVD from that DVR...i have the college cup, miami, western michigan, Can't state, and notre dame games on my DVR still...hoping that someone knew how...

The Zips are only losing one player(Kara Murphy). Being in that close of a game to Toledo in Cleveland, was a great experience for the youth of Lady Zips. It will be interesting to see how it the season will go next year.

Akron Zips Softball split series this past weekend with projected MAC East and MAC West champs for this season. Lost to Miami 4-0, and beat them 3-0 in Game 2 on friday. Then, they lose to Ball State 7-1 and beat the Cardinals on Senior Day 1-0. Another interesting stat brought up, is that as a team, the Lady Zips are #1 in the country in stolen bases per game. This seems like this could be a very entertaining year for Akron Zips softball.

I want to see one bracket that has the #3 #4 #8 and #11 seeds in the Final 4 There were plenty of people who predicted that there was going to be a lot of surprises this year since the top teams really weren't that good. They were right. Out of 5.9 million brackets on ESPN, only 2 brackets got the final four correct. yes...TWO BRACKETS out of 5.9 MILLION...

I'm not sure what "stacking" means. I went to the Hawaii men's tennis vs Michigan last weekend. Hawaii's best player played #3 singles, and just lost to a former HS all-American, ranked top 30 nationally. Somehow Hawaii won two of the three other singles matches, but lost the doubles and the overall match. It was only the second time I've attended, and was interesting. Free pizza! Stacking is when a team plays their best player not at the right position. You're supposed to have your best tennis player at #1 singles, #2 singles usually your 2nd,3rd, or 4th best player(depends on the quality of the #1 doubles team), and then the doubles, and usually the 3rd singles... For example random names Original Lineup 1st singles- Young 2nd singles- McLaughlin 3rd singles- McFerren 1st doubles- Frankhouser-Clayton 2nd doubles- Cline-Beckett "Stacked" Lineup 1st singles- Cline 2nd singles- Beckett 3rd singles- Young 1st doubles-McLaughlin-McFerren or McLaughlin-Clayton 2nd doubles- Frankhouser-Clayton or Frankhouser-McFerren

After my class this morning, I decided to follow the women's soccer scrimmages today as they played a tripleheader against Ashland, Miami(OH), and Duquesne with 30 minute halves(60 mins against each team). We were outscored in the first half of the three scrimmages by a combined score of 1-nil. The second half was a different story. The Lady Zips outscored their three opponents for a combined score of 6-nil in the second half today. Once i get to digest the 9 hours of soccer today on UA's campus, I'll come abck and give you more of my thoughts, including an article on Akron Sports Now.... I am a student and got a ticket, but had no way to get to Chicago and back since all of my friends backed out at the last moment (tuesday), so I cancelled my ticket. Please yell extra loud for me for whoever is going...thank you...i'll be watching the game at the same friend's house, in the same room on the same television, that we watched the College Cup on that friday and sunday.... Can't Wait! if memory serves....we were a 12 seed vs the 5 gonzaga correct? i can see a similiar situation i.e. going west as a 12 or 13 We were 13th seed and Gonzaga was the 4th seed...

My question is: What Quincy shows up tonight? Either way, we need him to keep his emotions in check..We can't afford any technical foul free throws tonight when every possession and point counts...

I don't want to sound like sour grapes, but this doesn't surprise me. I remember what he did towards the recruitment of Erick Howard. I don't want a guy that won't stay to his commitment like Howard did, but Tressel didn't help. If my memory serves me correctly, didn't Howard sign his Letter of Intent with the Zips? and then didn't Howard state that Treseel was still telling him he can go to a junior college and then play for Ohio State. He backed out of it, and did just that. Isn't it a violation to recruit/talk persuasively to a player that already signed their letter of intent?

Eastern Michigan seems to have our number in the regular season...when it comes to the postseason, who can forget the MAC Quarterfinals game from last year. The block from Zeke at the end of regulation to make it go to overtime, and then of course, the Steve McNees thress shot heard around the world of sports... Also, since the winner is going to be facing Miami(OH), do you think Charlie Coles will be making an appearance tonight? if so, can he please be put within the ak-rowdies...north end one half, and the south end the other half...the rowdies love him...it would be awesome if that can happen... So, how do you think tonight will go? will we have another nail biter, or is the 12.5 spread just right?

That's the one pet peeve I have with High School tennis....Is that I know a lot of coaches that'll "STACK" their lineup to give them the best shot to win the match...it's not the way it should be, but you can't do anything about it...

Most important in that, is the guards did not keep the player they were guarding in front of them. Some of the post players' fouls tonight for us, was the guards fault for not keeping them in front of us...

I know there's a few students trying to carpool there...I'm still debating whether to skip my first class of this semester(Psychology at 6:40-7:55), to go to this game or not...
