Like I've said before, out of 7 QB's you'd have to think at least 1 could get the job done. Unfortunately I feel like I'm pulling for some of the younger ones that can contribute for a few years, instead of a guy like Dalton Williams. Who we will only have for one. But in the end as long as we can win, there's no reason to complain.

Well technically I'm worried about a lot of things. OU making a tourney run, the Cavs not making the playoffs, Zips basketball next year, Indians and Browns sucking it up next year... But as far as Akron football goes...I have no worries

11-5 is still 3rd in the MAC. If they were the best team they would have gone 13-3, but that was someone else. They played one of the weakest OOC schedules of any team in the MAC. With only one "major" team in Louisville, a game they lost. So their overall record means nothing to me. You can't say just because they won in the postseason it makes them a better program. Look at who they beat! Georgetown, Michigan, USF, and potentially Creighton. It's not like they beat Patrick Ewing lead Gtown, or the Fab-5 Michigan teams. Just beating a "name" school doesn't mean they beat a good school.

DJ Cooper is an idiot, I really don't care what he has to say. OU is still the 3rd best team in the conference, it could just as easily be Buffalo, Akron, or even Can't in the same exact situation right now. People need to stop acting like OU has dominated our conference. They won the championship by 1 point. That doesn't sound like domination to me. Yeah they probably will beat USF, but really I don't think USF even deserves to be in the tourney.

The problem is OU will beat South Florida too. They are a VERY weak team, that really hasn't beat anyone good this year. Not to mention they even lost to VCU (who only beat us in OT). A UNC upset and matchup against Creighton gives them a very easy trip backing into the elite 8. Give us crap about losing in the tourney but at least we played good teams!

OU is not the same to the MAC, as Gonzaga is to the WCC. Have they been dominating the conference, no? Have they made the championship 6 years in a row? They made it in because of a ONE point win.

Ohio and Can't are a lot alike. They have the same kinds of obnoxious fans and players. The only thing that I think annoys me more about OU is that they have idiots that always post on here. To be honest I really don't care what they have to say. But I still don't see it as a rivalry like Can't. I feel like they hate us much more than we hate them. But really we are easily the most hated team in the MAC. Best facilities, national champs, big name coaches, and 6 MAC championship games in a row. Easy to hate a school with that resume!

I mentioned in another thread, BU is the weaker team so I'd take them. I'm still embarrassed we lost to them twice! Maybe third time's the charm

Surprisingly it seemed that we had a lot of calls go in our favor and had a very good night shooting. Could have gone either way, we just need to learn to finish. Sadly, our matchup tomorrow is going to be twice as tough. Not sure who I'd really rather face. We beat OU once, but Buffalo is the weaker team that we lsot to twice. Pick your poison I guess...

Zeke and Tree are both in foul trouble, so give Can't one decent run and they'll be right back with us. Don't expect them to play this way all game, and eventually the 3's will start to fall.

I agree, he's certainly not hurting us right now. Not the way Bardo did for the past three years! But man I really hate these close games! I have a bad feeling Can't is still going to win. Gotta go with Spicer-Exchange site. If building it downtown means it will get done faster, then yes I'll settle on that location. But you have to believe UA wants it right next to InfoCision. Like I've said, imagine the view from the east driving on Route8 seeing the stadium and arena both right there! Build a decent sized parking deck and a small plaza it will be a great place to hang out before and after games. I'd even suggest moving Zipsfest to that area, as opposed to next to the REC where they have it now.

I don't get very excited about recruits. But man Chavas Rawlins should be our #1 target in this draft class. He's got offers from BIG schools and his 40 time is only .02 seconds slower than RG3. Just something about a dual-treat QB means exciting and fast paced football. Something that's been lacking at Akron for quite some time.

I don't know if anyone else noticed it, but Harney looked miserable on the bench. In all honesty I don't think he is very happy at all being in Akron. I just hope he sticks around! Very talented and could be starting next year.
