Bubba is obviously a gimme, maybe Kato, but who else? There may be 4-5 Bowden recruits starting this year. Kato, Bubba, Hooks, Peterson, Andre Williams? Williams, Kato, and Hooks are still getting the benefit of the doubt from their production years ago/recruiting hype. Our all conference type of players outside of Bubba - Watts, Gray, and Dollard - aren’t Bowden recruits

Same HS as Mike Mathison and recent commit Montarious Reed. I don't recognize many schools on their schedule with the exception of Grayson, who I think is a powerhouse. With that said, I think its big HS ball/good competition.

Looks like we got him over Ga State and Kent St. Also went to same HS as Mike Mathison. Also, Dent has already de-committed as an update on him. Since then, he's picked up offers from Michigan in addition to Oregon, among others. Staff was in early on him. Too bad camps were back this year!

So the zipsfb account just posted some photos on instagram with Andre Proffitt tagged in one, so clearly he's on the team and practicing even though not showing up on the roster online. This is the fun stuff we deal with.

There isn't really a reason to be excited for the season. I'm looking forward to see the team competing and players continue to develop, but winning somewhere between 3-4 games would be "meeting expectations" in my eyes. We could end up being be surprised now that we have the starting QB back who is in year 3 of the system, many players got a lot of experience the past 2 years, we appear to be getting some old faces back in Jalen Hooks and Andre Williams per the roster online, and we've added some key transfers like Fann, Boateng, SL McCall, and Ant Williams that are filling holes and able to contribute immediately Its a building process and I think we are a year away from a .500 or better season assuming it doesn't get blown up before then, but I think at this point there is definitely more potential in year 3 of the rebuild compared to year 1 and last year with everything surrounding that.

probably won't update the roster until everyone reports for fall camp. Just saw Coach Z tweet a picture with Lyons the other day as a point of reference.

Anyone have an idea when fall camp starts? Should be any day now.

Do you have some ideas on how to get the general public excited about Akron football? Most on here even lack it and we are supposed to be the die hards.

We switched from Adidas to Nike. There wasn't any choice but to get new uniforms. I don't care enough to look it up, but I would assume they pay us to wear their gear.
