Definitely very doable. Stealing one from BG or CMU would help our chances immensely, because I have trouble believing we will win every game that we "should". Have to believe we need to get to 7 to get a bowl invite, even though stranger things have happened, especially in the MAC in that regard.

Looking ahead, the schedule may not be as easy as we all would've thought at the beginning of the season. EMU hung tough down at LSU yesterday for most of the game. CMU just beat NIU.

The facemask on Cheek was certainly a facemask (although it could have easily been called on the OU player as well). I couldn't tell on Marcus' play. I didn't see a good angle. And the play at the end was intended for Pratt, not Wolf.

We beat ourselves more than anything. Vick is pretty good and efficient. The only reason we had a chance in this game was due to him getting hurt. Marcus is an animal, but guy needs to cut it out with the penalties I was in favor of taking the FG at the end. It was 4th and 9 and the chance of converting that is slim. Take the points and give yourself a chance to win with a FG at the end. The defense came through, the offense didn't (go figure). The unsportsmanlike at the end by the assistant coach was just the cherry on the top. The coaches need to lead from the top down. Probably explains why we are so penalized.

Re: Woodson's long run. If Pratt held his block a little longer, thats a TD. Wolf is only a soph. Hopefully he can continue to develop. He makes some nice catches. Watching Lane give his guy that swim move and get off the line with that much ease makes me giddy. We all know he's a great athlete, but it looks like he is really learning the position. Hundley's run was just a man's run. Thats why Im such a big fan. Not exceptionally gifted in terms of talent, but heart and work ethic second to none.

Alright all, the win over Louisiana (only calling them that because of the posters who stopped by) was awesome and a great confidence builder heading into conference play. Its homecoming weekend and a chance for our program to shut up some of the critics. I don't know a whole lot about Ohio besides that they look better than last year. They were screwed out of a chance to beat Minnesota and come into this game 4-0. From highlights, Vick looks improved as well. IIRC, Woodson didnt look too hot down in Athens last year, but he seems to be a changed man. I'm tired of losing to OU and it would really be a huge monkey to get off of our backs (and a big conference win nonetheless). Keener, if I'm not mistaken, I'm supposed to stop by for some tailgating

I noticed that too, but from watching the game, many of the incompletions were catchable balls. I don't remember very many bad throws. Even his interception was a result of it bouncing off of a WRs hands. Speaking of the WRs, I was encouraged by their ability to get open so much last night. I would still like them to show the ability to make anything other than any easy catch. Wolfe did have a few nice grabs if my memory is correct. I like Means and Davis in the screen game as well. I think the group is improving and will hopefully continue to improve.

The no call is what was ridiculous.
