  1. Bowden's conservative play style towards the end of halfs really irks me.
  2. Is Jamal Marcus playing?
  3. Well Stein still sucks.that crap will cost you games.
  4. Deandre Scott gave up a solid 30yds that drive
  5. I wish our WRa could catch
  6. I'm "all in" on Woodson
  7. Looks like he's playing!
  8. I think the tailgating scene for SVSM/Hoban last night put ours to shame, unfortunately.
  9. Any word on Coe yet, Doc? I like this match up with our D.
  10. Authentic replica? Am I the only one seeing the oxymoron here? If the gear is authentic, the price seems fine. If its a replica.....
  11. I'm sure the QB situation has been discussed plenty on here in the past week, but I'm willing to give Woodson another real and fair shot. I think the system last year just wasn't a very good fit for his skill set. He probably isn't as good of a runner of Chapman, nor as good of a passer as Pohl, but he provides a mix of both that is needed. I wonder if Chapman would be open to a position change to RB? I think the system fits Woodson well, and I liked what I saw last week. Lets not forget he was once a commit to Arizona, so he has some talent.
  12. Did you guys look at the video? He was a junior last year. Using redshirt this year. Will be a redshirt senior next year.
  13. I'm not the least bit shocked our offense is dead last in all of Division 1 FBS football.
  14. Do you ever get tired of repeating the same s#@t?
  15. I agree with the general consensus. I'm done with the AJ Milwee experiment. I wouldn't be opposed to him being fired now and Terry running the O for the rest of the season. Savannah St next week regardless. Should no doubt be a win. Need to get the ship sailing in the right direction.
  16. I couldn't watch anymore: what happened?
  17. This team (read: offense) sucks. Same 'ol Akron. Zero clue what coaching staff or anyone see in Chapman.
  18. These numbers look odd. What does "cost of attendance" actually mean? How is it determined, and how is it relevant to anything other than athletics given the context of the discussion? I know it costs a lot more then $2500 to attend Akron.
  19. Yes! Long overdue. It has been discussed on here before.
  20. Sounds like sore losers to me.
  21. I think we have similar realistic expectations. However, to my knowledge, Embick hasn't had any top 10 seasons, never a national championship contender, and obviously a national championship. If one of his seasons was top 10, its negated by the early tourney exit. The apparent difference is that after two full seasons I haven't seen anything that makes me think he has "it" to be anything more than capable of running a borderline top 25 program.

  23. Not losing out on top local soccer talent to joke programs like BG would be a good start. Making a tournament run would be even better. I took a look back at the past 3 MAC preseason polls. Each year, the Zips continue to get less and less 1st place votes. Its clear the perception of the program is changing.
  24. You're quite the sensationalist.
  25. I'm just as disappointed in everybody else. We have to remember that last night we were facing the best team and best defense we will face this season. I agree that the talent being brought in could be much better. However, I saw some true freshman in on offense, which leads me to believe that the quality he is bringing in is improving. Last year, I believe Jerome Lane and O'Leary were the only freshman who weren't red-shirted. Kincade was a great recruit. MTB was as well. Kincade bounced before we ever seen him on the field. My guess is due to the change in offense. MTB's career thus far has been a bust, he isn't playing this season and I wouldn't expect much to change. Chapman was a 4 star recruit in HS. So the talent is obviously there. You can see that he is a great athlete. I would like to see him start by completing a pass and not run as much, but I'm not ready to give up on him in his first D1 game against what will likely be the best team he faces in his career. I also know for a fact that we could have had Roger Lewis (BG, initially recruited by OSU IIRC), but the coaching staff didn't want to get involved with his "demands". Good for them.
