Whenever I watch Auburn, it seems like they run about 4 different plays out of multiple formations. I cant complain assuming we have the personnel. Shows quite the confidence in the new QB and RB.

My mistake. Glossed over his statement and missed your point since it was irrelevant to the topic being discussed. -
The 2015 Football Commitment List

He is talking about greyshirts from last year's class (i.e Junius). -
I'm talking recruiting as a whole. He was the recruiting coordinator as well as inside WRs coach.

Officiating impacts every game. Fans need to worry about things that are under our coaches and players control. Mentioning that 2 of 3 refs are from C-USA and then pointing out that one of those refs were making the questionable calls seems like a hint of blaming refs of some conspiracy theory to me. Complaining about refs seems to happen almost every single game on here.
-
Dambrot is infamous for staying strong to his rotations rather than keeping hot hands in the game.
-
The refs were out to get the Zips. Has to be it.

Really disappointing to hear, but I give Dambrot/whoever else was involved in making the decision credit. I figure Tree had to be really close to graduation... I feel for him as I feel he is genuinely good person, but he has messed up a few times now, and ultimately we must all face the consequences of our actions. Tree, I know you do/have read Zipsnation. If you're reading this, thank you for all of your hard work on the court and I wish you the best in the future. As tough as it may be, take what you can from this incident and use it to make you a better person. Good luck.

I'd be happy with doing it once. Thanks for sharing again, Dr. Z. You're on a roll today. FWIW- I think Chryst isn't the best hire Wisconsin could/should make.

thank for sharing Dr. Z. Very informative. Always enjoy listening to Coach Bowden speak/

You play the best player. Don't care if its a true freshman or a 5th year senior. Kincade was a lot better caliber of recruit than Pohl. Totally feasible that he is better. Pohl started the year alright. Even if Bowden thought Kincade could be better later in the season, there is no reason to burn his redshirt that late. For the two examples you just gave, I could match you every single time where a younger player was played over an older one and it worked out great. Manziel and Winston both won Heisman's as redshirt freshman's. Winston has yet to lose a game in his career. Its a good thing Jimbo didn't go with the older guys. Same with Sumlin, he'd probably be fired by now if he didnt play Manziel. Obviously those are a different caliber of players than we have, but they were also competing and beating out similar caliber players.

valid point. I personally have no opinion on it. Just thought it was worth mentioning. See the positives and negatives.

cant go wrong with any SVSM player in my book. Keep building that pipeline. Refreshing to see a hometown kid call us The University of Akron as well instead of the all too common "Akron U" -
Also caught on TB's last show that every single freshman redshirted this season.

Really not about to go around this debate again. While getting wins over any P5 team is always nice, you guys need to realize that maybe 1 of the P5 teams we've played this season are going to make the tournament. Quote me on it. BTW- Miami wasn't even a guarantee on the schedule, we got lucky that we played our toughest opponent of the season. They weren't even picked to finish in the top half of the ACC. Luck had everything to do with that opponent. Scheduling one, maybe even two regular top 25 programs if we are feeling REAL daring will not hurt anything. It gives us a chance to get more money, which people are starting to use as an excuse all of the sudden, get a premiere win..so you know...our whole season doesn't come down to one fluke game (two words: at-large), gives us a chance to see how we stack up against a similar caliber team we will be playing in the tourney (sorry, we won't play MTSU or NDSU if we make it) and make proper adjustments if we lose, gives our program national spotlight if we do knock them off (we have only ever had negative national spotlight), gives our team a confidence boost with a big win/close loss. If we get blown out, who gives a damn. I'd rather get blown out in a meaningless game and learn from it than lose by 50 and set some tournament history records (and not the good kind) to a team who loses the next round. Literally the only negative of stepping up and going on the road and playing somebody is that we have a more likely than not 2.8% less chance of getting to that prestigious 21 win mark. Pros far outweigh the cons. I expect at least an effort for continuous improvement. You should too.

I'm looking forward to our premiere OOC matchup against MTSU.
-
EMU just notched a bigger win than KD has had his whole career at Akron. Play somebody already.
-
I'm not sure it can hurt. Not pleased with recruiting or WR play.
-
Zero? Maybe one the year they went 6-6?
-
About as favorable as a schedule the MAC can wish for. Don't get me wrong, those teams are far from pushovers, though.
-
I might be inclined to order something from Felt and Chenile if it didn't have a 1990s site setup. Cant find anything Akron on there.
-
11-7 after beating the first place Raptors last night. Now on a 6 game winning streak.
-
...and this. Sorry, but soccer isn't going to make or break us joining/staying in any conference.
