  1. +10000000000000000000!
  2. Good interview. Dambrot is definitely getting better at being a salesman for the U. Nothing of interest that we haven't heard before, but they gave him 25 minutes, so that was nice.
  3. BOOM! LINK
  4. That could mean only the players that were on the floor with him at one time. We haven't seen too much Zeke & Forsythe at the same time in the last few weeks.
  5. Once again, here's a list of every AP Voter's twitter handles. All in one place.
  6. I like the thread. Great teams always find things that they can do to become better. Defeatists sweep it under the rug and "pretend like it never happened".
  7. Agreed. Btw, i'm loving this rivalry. It's too bad OU is going to drop off big time in the next few years.
  8. Nope! Thanks!
  9. The pregame trash talking has already begun. We need to crush them Wednesday.
  10. Thank you. I'm still confused as to why this is so hard to grasp for some people though. The video is clear.
  11. The "racist guy"? No. But he's a big homer too, from what i've heard. All of the best announcers are.
  12. I'm horrified by any talk of replacing Frenchy. He's my second favorite play by play guy of all time (behind Tom Hamilton, of course). I love how big of a homer he is!
  13. I still think they should have made a "bobble body" dambrot that does the 'Dambrot Shuffle' with an angry face and two hands in the air.
  14. I highly doubt it. He hasn't really proven the ability to come off the bench and hit shots in garbage time let alone in crunch time. Maybe in a few years.
  15. I was actually rooting for OU to win. I want them to be as high as possible in RPI when we beat them next week. If this Akron team is even half as good as we all seem to think they are, they'll get it done in Athens and have nothing to worry about in terms of winning the MAC regular season title. We don't want/need help.
  16. Tough loss tonight. BGSU didn't mess around.
  17. Bingo. I don't get how anyone who spends time around campus could be upset about what Tressel has done. Sure the new arena isn't a reality yet, but my God, it's barely been a year since he took the job. He's been a great face for the U, and he's certainly done some positive things for it. Regarding the arena however...We make a sweet 16 run, coupled with this winning streak, and we have a very good chance of opening some eyes and wallets. Just WIN WIN WIN!
  18. I like it. #Win2atQ
  19. That sounds awesome.
  20. Two weeks ago I asked KD if he had voted for UA in the polls. He said "no". I don't know about last week, but I'd have to think he did this week.
  21. 100% agree. Computers don't select the teams, people do, and lots of people are taking notice of the Zips. All of that aside however, why are we worrying so much about this? Lets enjoy the ride and have a blast winning 24 straight.
  22. Here's this week's Rankings Roundup. Added a few new ones this week, so now the list consists of 21 polls/rankings that the Zips are appearing on in some manner.
  23. I don't know if you guys checked out my link above (List of every AP voter's tweets), but a bunch of Zips fans have been tweeting at the voters that didn't vote for the Zips, asking for their reasoning. It's been very interesting going back and forth with them, and many of them have said that UA is on their radar and perhaps just on the outside at #26. However, several of them seemed surprised at Akron fans tweeting at them and may have been unaware of the streak. In fact, a few of them even admitted that they didn't know about Akron having two starters out for two of those losses. It may be a good thing to keep talking the Zips up and getting the word out there. Even fans can make a difference by starting a conversation.
  24. I put together a twitter list of every AP Voter (55 of the 65 have twitter accounts) so everyone can either tweet at the voters or follow them and see their rationale for their voting. LINK p.s. I tweeted at a few of them and got a few funny responses. I may have at least got UCONN's local sportswriter's attention (Dave Borges). You can thank me if we're on his ballot next week lol.
