  1. Because Bowden > T^2.
  2. Darn you guys...I was just about to post this! ZipsNation, we may be few...but those hardcore of us who are here are the best damn fans in the land. #ZipsNation
  3. Sorry Jrship35...I'm confused on what you mean by this?
  4. It's laughable that he would say their ball club is better. We've beaten them twice this season. 2-0. Our ball club was better that yours last year when you beat us in the MACC...we beat ourselves in that game as well. Put up or shut up Mr. Brown.
  5. Van Edwards committed to the Zips? Hudl. PrepSports.
  6. As the official pro-Bowden-cheerleader, I like what I'm seeing with this class. With or without Fowler (which do we have any confirmation on his decommit? I don't see anything anywhere on it other than hustlebelt...)
  7. Zips win Tough win, he young guys had to show up today for this win, and they were able to battle back being down late in the game...and hold on to a small lead in the final seconds of the game. I have a feeling this is going to be a really fun team to watch now, and the next few seasons.
  8. From the radio, this game seems like an absolute joke.
  9. 4-2 in conference play isn't too bad. Especially since OU is down this year, we should expect that we'd lose a couple of games in the MAC anyways. We're gonna be okay. I was upset while we were losing, but unless we're in the middle of a giant win streak that could mean us getting nationally ranked, I'd rather take a few losses now than in the MAC tourney. Injuries killed us this game, otherwise I think we would have won. Hopefully this team has a bitter taste in their mouths.
  10. Wow...I was not expecting news like that. CMU is on our schedule this year right?
  11. Hah, maybe he's counting scrimmages and exhibition games
  12. We look like the 2013/2014 and 2012/2013 versions of the Zips right now. Sleep walking through the first half, rough team chemistry, struggling to get anything going.
  13. With DiG's advice. Reposted with smaller font, see if you like it!
  14. Nice predictions. I really like that we get conversation on the Lady Zips here Mes, even if it's only a couple of members. I find it difficult to put any stock in the Zips, simply because of their losses in the offseason. But they have proven, time and time again, that the defending MAC champions is a force to be reckoned with.
  15. We've got a lot WR's on this roster, and with D'Orazio moving on...this is a chance for them to step up. I believe that they will.
  16. +1.
  17. Fixed. The 14/15 OOC average had the first MAC game added in with it thus skewing it.
  18. Not all that impressive when 80% of those games are against cupcakes.
  19. Agreed. Originally I thought about organizing by month to see if there is any difference, but really the Zips only have a handful of games at home each month and the values varied wildly, and didn't really show anything significant. OOC vs MAC showed the most significance. Two games in November compared to 5 games February was being skewed a bit.
  20. The most amazing stat are those highlighted ones. We managed to have 67.5 and 63.6 plays per game those seasons? Even that feels like it was too high...
  21. I have created a stat thread where you can find a copy of attendance stats going back 10-years. I personally think this speaks volume to a lot of discussion going on here.
  22. I know there is a separate thread a separate thread on building renovating the JAR, and the building of a New arena. But I think a separate thread that can be referenced specifically for attendance stats is necessary, and I will update this periodically. I have grouped the attendance data by game, OOC average, season average, MAC average, vs Can't trend, vs Ohio trend (rivalry games just for fun) the average capacity % for each season and how it compares to the 10-year average. *Note: ten-year average is 2005/2005-2013/2014. *UPDATE: Fixed MAC and OOC, and 2014/2015 season average). 23. I agree. I haven't posted it yet (and won't until after signing day) but the updated roster is heavy on the top and bottom (Seniors and freshman). THere are a lot of RS freshman on this team, along with freshman who are coming in this season. It's almost like you can see the strategy, when we consider your testimony on the strengthening program. We've added players through JUCO and transfer that can contribute now, allowing us to develop the young players that we have. I know a lot of people are upset at how long it's taking Bowden to turn things around...but I really get the feeling he is. Even after one more season, this team will have very high quality crop of RS sophomores and RS freshman.
