The MAC has already shown how much they care about November attendance with these weekday games, adding to the non-debate for me. Especially scheduling teams' key rivalry game during this period. At least Kent fans can get to Akron easily and vice versa. I seem to recall Miami playing in Athens and thinking how much fun it would be to try to make that trip home at night. 🙄 My only debate is how much of the football game I even watch on my big TV, before I switch it to the little one nearby so I can watch the World Series.

Maybe they'll add an extra discount if you scrape off your own seat and the one next to you. 🥶

Putting any money on this game means your betting on one of these teams to do something. I just can't do that. 😶

I generally sit in the upper level so those ushers are a non-issue for me. When the stadium opened I had season tickets in the front row of the upper deck near the 50 yd line. I never got over the feeling if I stood up too fast or someone nudged me that I would go over that low railing. 😬

Thank goodness. That floor was horrible to watch on TV.

Why would anybody buy a reserved seat for a game where you can pretty much sit anywhere you want to, like pretty much any Zips football game?

"The Akron vs CMU game was a game of two incompetents who generally tried hard in a bad football game. That was just trash. Can we really no field a team that can win in this trash league?" That's been the story of the season. There hasn't been a game we deserved to win, only games we could have won because of the incompetence of our opponent. Still waiting to see a well played game by both teams. Bad football all around.

I think we have a very similar example of what can be done by just looking at what happened when Bowden took over. Zips went 1-11 his first year, then 5-7. Even during the 1-11 year we could see some improvement. This season is rolling downhill fast and we'll see if it can be stopped. I agree we have no choice but to stick with Moorehead. I'm not sure the program can survive another change at this point.

The church picnic has been cancelled due to the forecast and that same forecast certainly doesn't encourage me to change my mind about not going. Bad weather and bad football are a bad mix. Hopefully the Zips will play better, but I'll be taking advantage of my Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ subscription. Go Zips. 🫣

My bad, make that five lousy football games. I guess they are all running together by now. Just tired of bad, losing football.

Say what you want about the coulda, shoulda won and lost but I just feel like I've watched four lousy football games between bad football teams. And I'm a lifelong fan like a lot of us and my interest in watching more this year is at an all time low. I guess I will be going to the church picnic next Saturday. 🥴
