The days of Akron paying multiple head coaching contracts at the same time are long over. Short of him resigning to take another job, for the good of the bad, Moorhead is here until the end of his contract.
I was wondering when this would finally got posted!
Tough to get a feel for the Tartar Control. They were handily beaten by Villanova, but Villanova is a top 5 FCS team.
Nice recap.
I'm afraid these first two weeks could have damaged Finley's psyche to the point that he'll be quickly bailing on plays all year, even on perceived as opposed to actual pressure. Next week will be telling.
That would require someone in a position of authority to give a $h!+.
This would all be so much better with games on neutral fields in Florida and more tarps over the seats.
Basketball can't get here fast enough.
Here's hoping that Finley is not substantially hurt and doesn't have PTSD from that experience. You could see how he got more and more concerned with the rush as the game wore on. Hopefully, his "happy feet" was a situational thing rather than something he'll have to continue to deal with as he missed some potential big plays by bailing out quickly when he felt pressure.
Sport- if you're not a freshman and you're not contributing to Zips teams that are winning 2 games a year, you are likely not a division 1 football player.
It looks like inflation has finally caught up to Zips basketball. I just looked at my season ticket renewal (general admission) and it is $100, up from the $60 it has been for years. I think I can live with $6.25 a game!
I just noticed that the ticket site says " All season tickets include one (1) parking pass per account."
