  1. Just to point out the difference, the most common commercial on the PCCC/Oxford game was for a migraine medicine. We get Versace cologne commercials. Know your consumer!
  2. Marreon Jackson acts like he was shot when he went down on his own, gets a tech with his mouth then gets up unhurt.
  3. Early seat for LCJ, all of the starters out in first 5 minutes.
  4. Thanks Normandie. That was a blast of nothingness. Oh Lord, the Toledo color guy just said "heat check."
  5. Finally a well lit away arena.
  6. Watching PCCC/Oxford. PCC went from 22-15 to 32-22 down including a really stupid technical on Pippen.
  7. Keep Jackson from penetrating, don't give Littleson good looks from 3 point range, don't give up second chance points.
  8. #336 and down looks like the Zips OOC schedule most years! Sorry, couldn't resist when I saw some familiar names.
  9. You had me at Colgate.
  10. Game notes- https://gozips.com/documents/2021/2/1/2020_21_GAME_NOTES_Game_14_Toledo2.pdf I now see where the announcers get all of their drivel.
  11. I'll see what I can do! LOL. I am in the same exact boat, Sling Orange plus an antenna.
  12. Some of the other competitors for POY- M. Jackson- 16.9 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 5.6 apg Preston- 16.3 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 7.5 apg Turner- 19.9 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 4.6 apg
  13. George's latest on the game- https://www.beaconjournal.com/story/sports/college/zips/2021/02/01/university-akron-mens-basketball-zips-focus-toledo-rematch/4342235001/
  14. Maybe 5-6 inches here, nothing that should hold up a game.
  15. I'm thinking that if the Zips are down three with seconds left and the ball, old Tod "Red" Kowalczyk will have his players foul this time.
  16. I'd love to beat Toledo but we all know that nothing really makes any difference but the game on March 13th.
  17. Pippen is at 20.9 ppg, 9.2 rpg and 3.5 apg. LCJ is at 20.5 ppg, 2.5 rpg and 6.7 apg. They will both get a chance to state their case Friday night in the Brimfield Agricultural Exposition Center.
  18. I even more enjoyed watching the reaction of his teammates. They were really enjoying his success which tells me this team is coming together. His frame reminds me of Jimond Ivey. I think you'll only see him in blowouts. He may have potential but this team is already so deep it would be nearly impossible for them to find minutes for another player.
  19. It doesn't help that I hate Spectrum with every inch of my being
  20. I prefer ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3 and ESPN+ as those are what I can get. It's a shame that all of the ESPNs are not included in ESPN+.
  21. It's going to be a rough stretch. Toledo is ESPN+, Streetsboro Agricultural lists no TV broadcast on the Zips site but says ESPNU on SA's website (ugh), OU is CBS Sports Network (ugh) and Miami is ESPNU (ugh).
  22. This game is going to be a real test for the Zips. It would sure be nice to put another L on Toledo's slate and remind them of where the MAC title presently resides. A win at Toledo is going to be a tall order. The Zips primary advantages are defense and depth. Toledo really plays only 7 players. Hopefully, the Zips depth and ability to always shuttle in fresh players will wear them down. Do that and lock them down on defense and maybe the Zips are at the top of the MAC Tuesday night.
