  1. ...and most of the fan seating is like new! The SVSM/Hoban game and Founders Day facilitate a twice a year bathroom cleaning.
  2. Here's a blurb from the Beacon on the young Mr. Boyce in their high school spotlight- MARCEL BOYCE JR. Buchtel, basketball Boyce, a sophomore, scored 16 points in a 96-32 win over Ellet, 22 points in a 88-79 victory over Archbishop Hoban and 24 points in a 79-78 loss to Walsh Jesuit this week. He also recently scored 10 points in a 78-75 win over Medina, 16 points in a 88-82 victory over Cleveland Heights Lutheran East and 31 points in a 88-37 win over Ellet.
  3. You were expecting? George is worried about a Zips defense that is two points in average better than any other team in the league. Just imagine if he'd just report on what actually happened in the game and spared us the analysis.
  4. If Toledo can cut this to single digits...........................they can lose by single digits.
  5. Toledo chucking up bombs like they're worth 14 points.
  6. BG back up 12!. Who are these teams? Never know what you'll get in these rivalry games.
  7. Saw 2 seconds of the Stony Brook game today and Jayden looks good (especially without a cast). Good for him.
  8. BG going for its 7th loss in a row today. They haven't won a game since January 15th!
  9. This is where we've been posting this kind of info.
  10. The Zips get an opportunity to avenge their ugly early season loss to the NIU Huskies this Tuesday at the JAR. The good news is that the game is on ESPN3. The bad news is that it's a 2:00 p.m. start. Who wouldn't want to get back to DeKalb as soon as possible? Going into Saturday's game in Brimfield against PCCC the Huskies are 2-10/1-6 in the MAC with their sole MAC win its 67-65 win over the Zips on January 12th. The Huskies had 7 consecutive postponements going into Brimfield and have not played since January 16th! 6'2" sophomore guard Tyler Cochran leads NIU in scoring and rebounding at 13.8 ppg and 7.4 rpg. He did not play against the Zips in the first game.
  11. This morning's Beacon headline- "Lairy, Zips beat Redhawks." Doh!
  12. He is in for his defense as he is much superior to Trimble defensively. His athleticism is great and helps his defense but he has yet to develop a shot. Wynn is more interchangeable for Dailey and Ali as a forward in the rotation while Tribble is in the guard rotation.
  13. As much as Riak could make us nuts with his bad hands and lack of offense, this is a game where his defense would make a difference against the dribble penetration.
  14. I think we'll see a big Zips run the second half to take control back, then Miami will get back in it but not catch up. They are committed to stopping LCJ, sending guys to double. Zips need a couple of guys to step up and make them pay for that.
  15. That 12-2 run by Miami had some ugly lapses by the Zips.
  16. Zips having trouble with Miami's speed and dribble drive.
  17. Early entry for Aziz!
  18. Mute button.
  19. Good start. Radio about a minute behind the live stats,
  20. ESPN app to play game video only works if you have the specific ESPN (EPSN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPN Classic, ESPNU) through a provider and ESPN+ does not include ESPNU.
  21. 640- WHLO!
  22. I don't know what "our level" is at this point. Is it the first half of the PCCC game or the second half? Is it the OU game or the EMU away game?...
  23. LCJ making 3s in the background like they're layups! LOL.
