  1. Some real momentum heading into next week....
  2. Dawson misses a box out...
  3. Sammy gets bullied underneath...Nate loses his guy on defense...just when you think it can't get worse...
  4. It's kind of amazing Enrique hasn't fouled out more with what little help he's had in the defensive post.
  5. How did refs every survive without being able to go to the video.
  6. Javonte Brown will eat Lyles alive.
  7. He is so slow laterally.
  8. This team seems to feel compelled to allow opponents back into games.
  9. CBS Sports Network- Grrrrrrrrrr.
  10. Mike Davis who brought his Detroit Mercy team here a while back and "daddy balled" his kid to stardom got the heave ho today after his Titans went 1-31 on the season.
  11. Good points. We've been spoiled with guard transfers like X and LCJ. We need to realize that some guys may be brought in to provide decent depth, not be stars.
  12. Stan Heath has a 26-55 record at EMU and 236-262 record over 16 years as a head coach, after starting at 30-6 at PCCC with Gary Waters recruits. I think that qualifies as awful.
  13. No question, they are in high demand and short supply. We'll always be left to wonder what Baker's role would have been on this team.
  14. They could have also used another big. Too much of the post defense and rebounding was put on Enrique's shoulders.
  15. Could it be that maybe they're just not as good as we thought/hoped they were?
  16. I agree that they could use a shakeup but I don't see it happening in game 31.
  17. The Zips head off to Kalamazoo Friday night to face the Broncos and wrap up the regular season. The Broncos come into the game at 11-19/8-9. The Zips beat the Broncos 77-66 earlier in the season, outscoring them by 13 in the second half. 6’4” sophomore guard Seth Hubbard is the only Broncos plater than averages in the double digits in scoring at 14.3 ppg. The Broncos are first in the MAC in offensive rebounds with a rotation of some decent big men, which is likely to pose a challenge to the Zips after getting pounded on the boards by EMU Tuesday night.
  18. By and large this team has lacked attention to detail since they headed out to James Madison and overall their play has been pretty mediocre. While they look good on paper they've repeatedly had issues with the "little stuff" like boxing out, losing guys on defense, lazy passes... They've also all too often not been physical enough. Here's hoping last night was the wakeup call they need.
  19. He just has to chip him/bump him. They had 7 more offensive rebounds than the Zips. That's an across the board failure to block out when on defense, when you should have the advantage.
  20. You can't get abused on the boards and consistently turn the ball over and expect to win, even against a bad team
  21. Awful way for those kids to go out. Worst Zips performance of the year.
  22. Time for the seniors to take this game over.
  23. Tavari and Prather keeping the Zips in it.
  24. Looks like our defense against James Madison with all of the easy baskets tonight.
  25. Tavari had a good half
