Dr Z Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 Zips are an eight and a half point favorite. Weather is calling for early morning showers, clearing in the afternoon, high of 49. Probably around 40 near kickoff. Quote
UA1987 Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 Yikes, did coach say 'life is like a box of chocolates' in there somewhere? Kidding (I think). Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 Pretty much "Put up or Shut up" for the Zips this week. Nationally televised game...beatable opponent who thoroughly embarrassed the Zips in 2015...bowl eligibility on the line... No excuses...Zips need to win this game. Quote
skip-zip Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 (edited) I'll sum this up even further. With a loss Wednesday, every goal we could have had this year will be done. No Bowl Game, and no remaining chance at a division or conference title. The season is on the line. Regardless of some of the bad luck that's hit us this year, the majority of the fans (or potential future fans) won't be impressed with a 5-7 record after the promise we showed last season. UA1987 Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 I heard on Joe Dunn's show that Warren Ball is done playing ball this year. Paperwork is supposedly being filed for a 6th year, but I have to wonder if he will ever play for the Zips again. Quote

A bruiser RB will be a need once again. Quote

Captain Kangaroo Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 Quote Natson has caught 53 passes for 736 yards and 10 touchdowns. Not too shabby for 10 games. 1 Quote
K92 Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 Sounds like the Kool-Aid Kids vs. the Drano Chuggers on that board. They should just get along like us and stop all the in-fighting. Quote
LZIp Posted November 8, 2016 Report Posted November 8, 2016 Good news from reading their board Zipsnation, they seem to have no running game and a weak secondary. This one looks winnable!! Quote

Blue & Gold Posted November 10, 2016 Report Posted November 10, 2016 Just tuned in & no Woody?! Did Woody play the first series? Quote
gozips19 Posted November 10, 2016 Report Posted November 10, 2016 Espn News to start. Woody already out. Scott with a pick. Tough hold and a drop by Coney Quote
Blue & Gold Posted November 10, 2016 Report Posted November 10, 2016 Crap!! Forget about bowl eligibility if Woody's out. Our D can't win the game for us. Quote
Buckzip Posted November 10, 2016 Report Posted November 10, 2016 It is depressing how far this team has regressed the last few weeks. Defense sucks and the offense can't do anything without Woodson at 100%. We should blow out BG but instead will probably lose. Quote
1981 grad Posted November 10, 2016 Report Posted November 10, 2016 The defense actually made an adjustment after the first series. They were playing 10 yards off the receivers and that resulted in several first downs. In the second and third series they were playing right on the receivers. The defense has held 3 times forcing 2 punts. Now we need the offense. 1 Quote
zippyfan34 Posted November 10, 2016 Report Posted November 10, 2016 Offense needs to adjust to not having Woodson now. 3rd and 2 and you can't just throw it up and hope for a catch. Run the ball or do a shorter, higher percentage throw! 2 Quote
Blue & Gold Posted November 10, 2016 Report Posted November 10, 2016 ^^Offensive adjustment? I'll stop you right there. Quote
Buckzip Posted November 10, 2016 Report Posted November 10, 2016 Ritz with 3 penalties already. Smh Quote
