Not because of his talent, but because he only played in 9 MAC games. He didn't even play enough games to qualify for MAC stat leaders. Your best ability is your availability. clarkwgriswold
OU putting it on Toledo. OU is becoming the team we thought they might be coming into the season.

zippy5
I'm still internally debating if 3 games in 3 nights is tougher on them after being off for so long or easier since they're fresh. Probably washes out.
bigzipguy
Rockets doing a bad job on the boards!!!
AkronAlumnus
Toledo's getting bopped. We'll see if the MPOY can bring his team back. My guess - NO. #NotMyPlayerOfTheYear lol Edited March 12, 2021 by AkronAlumnus
LZIp
I will miss M. Jackson's Paul Pierce reenactments.
Let'sGoZips94
Nothing like watching OSU - Athens Campus dominate all game, only to show they're human the final 5-7 minutes and let this be a game. Hard to not smile watching Coach K's crooked program go down in lethargic fashion.
Let'sGoZips94
Congrats to Coach Boals on reaching the Finals. I'm not surprised - he's one heck of a coach.

LZIp
I think Ohio is the favorite in the conference next year. Young and a lot of talent...
ewbrooman1
Nice of the MAC to announce at 7:40 that the 7:30 game had been moved to ESPNEWS. 🙄
LZIp
Buffalo doesn't have anything left after playing us. Oh well, I'm not sure we would have beaten OU the way they are playing anyways.
clarkwgriswold
OU started slow but has developed into the team I feared they would.

Not as much as Groce, but I think Boals is also a great coach. But that's neither here nor there. I just am extremely impressed with OU's starting lineup. F - Ben Vander Plas: an All-MAC caliber player and potential MAC POY type of talent F - Dwight Wilson: they just got this guy (transfer from James Madison?) and he's a stud. 6-8, 250 & can play. He, together with Vander Plas make for the best front court in the league. (Granted, I haven't seen the Zips play yet, but these two are tough.) W - Ben Roderick: sophomore who is coming into his own. Basically, he single-handedly led his team to the Ohio D-1 state semi-finals his senior year. W - Lunden McDay: STVM's McDay is actually the weakest link of their starting 5, and Lunden's a very solid all-around baller. PG - Jason Preston: this guys is special. I hate to say it, but I think he's going to overtake LCJ for MAC POY. Go Zips! I had to search for this post. I posted this on December 7th. We went on to smash OU during our first matchup & I figured well of course, 'cause what do I know? Lol. But Boals has done a great job getting OU to gel into the team that worried me back in early December.
