I don’t get too excited about the JUCO young men because we have not brought one in yet that has dominated. As mentioned earlier, with the uncertainty of who will be the coach in the coming years, top talent won’t be knocking at our door anytime soon.

That's why a coach has to be part salesman.  They need to be able to sit in a kid's living room and persuade him and his mom that his school is his best option.  He then has to be a decent coach and good administrator (or he's an Ed Orgeron).

Man, I love that young man.  He's one of the most dominant hs defenders I've watched in a very long time.  He'd look tremendous in blue & gold again.

Quan was a fullback at Wisconsin. He’d improve the talent level on our team for sure, but FB isn’t exactly a position we use, unless you guys think he would be better fit elsewhere.

You know what - I made a mistake. I thought that was Darryl Peterson. A dominant DE at Hoban last year. My bad. I was on my phone & obviously not paying close enough attention.

I don't know Zipmeister. I think it is very impressive that he is considering something in Law. After all, we have a great school of law.

No surprise these young men are decommitting. Think about it y’all would you stay committed to a school with no coach yet? How do you know if you fit into the scheme they will run. The coach will try to bring in his own recruits.

I was talking to some parents in the bar before the playoff game and apparently he has had several injuries & ball security issues and doesn’t feel like he is gonna get the opportunity he is looking for, don’t know if any truth to it
