Reslife4Life Posted Monday at 12:33 AM Report Posted Monday at 12:33 AM I do not understand the Lane Kiffin thing at all. First of all failure on the ADs, NCAA, everyone for allowing these coaching changes to happen before the season is over. What if Jared Embick just said he is going to coach somewhere else right now? Second, why would the coach of the #6 ranked team in the country leave his job to go coach a team that went 3-6 in conference play this year? Even if the answer is money how is Ole Miss not putting up the same amount of money to keep him? P4 football is a disaster, ruining the soul of college athletics 2 Quote

Same with the only portal window being in January when teams are still playing their postseason. Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Akron should find another 5-7 team to play a game in Hawaii or Alaska to get to 6 wins and push for bowl eligibility, or just call the 13th game the bowl game. Edited 4 hours ago by Let'sGoZips94 Quote

kreed5120 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago It doesn't help they have the highest paid coach in the Big 12 despite him only having a 16-21 record... Quote

I assume not anymore with BYU’s coach getting paid. The PSU situation is a disaster (which I personally enjoy). Ohio’s coaching situation is looking pretty juicy as well…curious what’s going on there. Quote

Financially they escaped the deal without eating too much money. I thought it was a dumb firing when it happened. It would have only made sense if they had an Urban Meyer or Nick Saban lined up to take the job. Virginia Tech was the real winners there. 1 Quote

The only reason these numbers are being reported is because it involves Deion. All but ~10-15 programs are subsidized by other avenues of revenue. Quote

I imagine it's programs like Iowa who understand this that are doing well financially. Quote
