Barring a complete 180 in the offensive scheme, JoeMo is proving to be a fraud in the "offensive genius" department that our fan base was sold on. Maybe the talent he was able to utilize covered for his flaws at PSU, Miss St., and Oregon - who the hell knows. This is so damn disappointing because it's no longer about talent (maybe at the QB level - maybe); our flaws are entirely coaching/scheme related. 1 Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted October 7, 2023 Report Posted October 7, 2023 Good weekend for me to be out of town. Quote
dre22era Posted October 7, 2023 Report Posted October 7, 2023 Only Tim Tyrrell can fix this. Tired of dumb coaching hires and Homers in here defending this trash. 1 Quote
UAZipster0305 Posted October 7, 2023 Report Posted October 7, 2023 At this point, it has to be a statistical anomaly that we have had as many epically bad coaching hires as we have actually had. Quote

I still believe that Joe is a really good coach but bad luck and seriously flawed quarterback play has made this a disaster so far. If he stays next year I’m guessing his #1 priority is hitting the portal hard for a qb Quote

Copley Don Posted October 7, 2023 Report Posted October 7, 2023 If our ADs goal is to win games, he’s failing. If our ADs goal is to win all of our delusional optimism, he’s John Wooden. Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted October 7, 2023 Report Posted October 7, 2023 This type of horrific football is the result of a lack of talent and/or poor coaching. Recruiting and leadership all come back to the coaching staff. People longing for the Bowden days is evidence of the awfulness of the recent history of this program. Quote
dre22era Posted October 7, 2023 Report Posted October 7, 2023 Folks always fall for the overrated coaching resume on paper. It's bout time we get folks in power who will ignore that BS and focus on actual hands on results. Quote

GoZips88 Posted October 7, 2023 Report Posted October 7, 2023 ... I glance up at the TV and NIU is waltzing into the end zone again early in the second half. Embarrassing on so many levels ... Pat McAfee picked Akron as his Super Underdog today on College Game Day. 1 Quote
