If I had a buck for every touchdown Akron gave up in the last 2 minutes of the half the last 10 years I would be a rich man.  We have seen this over and over and over again.

Bright spots and ugly spots on both O and D in the first half. Special teams pretty good all around though!

Just so damn frustrating.  When the Zips scored with 1:20 left I immediately thought "damn, here we go again."

 

Nice -1 rushing yards in the first half for the Zips.

Need this win so badly. The fan have had nothing to be excited about for 8(?) years.  How are we to survive?  Get this win & we actually have a meaningful homecoming game vs. BUGS.

Aside from a fantastic punt that led to the nice TD and an okay scripted first drive, it's been a really inconsistent game. Zips can't run the ball or really do much on offense and the defense can't tackle.

I have two wtf moments thus far, Finley's interception and the 7 points right before halftime where they moved the ball without one negative play.

Three and out to start the half.  It is what I expected.  Finley and the offense look like their done for the day.  We have seen this before.  I hope I am wrong.

I say the same thing every Saturday and Sunday.

 

Literally just hit open receivers, don't make dumb mistakes and tackle. It shouldn't be this difficult. But for some reason my teams just can't do the most basic stuff. 

 

We went from 10-7 and now it will soon be 21-10 in a blink of an eye.

Figured on 4th and 9 the Bobcats would still punt.  Alternative was them going for it instead on 4th and 4 and almost assuredly converting.

This incomplete pass - incomplete pass - short check down pass for 1 yard offense ain't going to win this game. What the heck are they doing?!

 

So far this half we're 2/6 for 0 yards.

And the commentator stating the obvious:  Akron needs to stop running the RPO and just start running the ball.  Why can the commentators see what our coach cannot see.  We heard the same thing last week.
