Zippy87 Posted 8 hours ago Author Report Posted 8 hours ago I will keep the original post updated as we move closer to the tournament. The bottom half of the MAC is so close that I am guessing we won't know our first round opponent until the final day of the regular season. 1 Quote
RoyalBlu Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Actually, minus a couple of quality upsets, I don't see the Top 8 in order being different by the end of the season. That would put Miami vs. Buffalo, the Zips against UMass and Kent vs. BG in the opening round of the MAC Tournament. Considering Miami has had all it could handle vs. UB in two last second wins, and the same with Kent vs. BG with a road games between the two yet to play, Akron's game vs. UMass could be just as dicy, or the easiest of the three, depending on the game Friday. No matter what, would not surprise me to see an upset or two in the MAC Tournament -- and a surprise team in the MAC Final. Quote

I think the top 8 will stay the same, but not necessarily the order. 2 games currently separate the 4 and 8 seed, and tiebreaker can get wild in multi-team ties. Quote
