I will keep the original post updated as we move closer to the tournament. The bottom half of the MAC is so close that I am guessing we won't know our first round opponent until the final day of the regular season.

Actually, minus a couple of quality upsets, I don't see the Top 8 in order being different by the end of the season. That would put  Miami vs. Buffalo, the Zips against UMass and Kent vs. BG in the opening round of the MAC Tournament. Considering Miami has had all it could handle vs. UB in two last second wins, and the same with Kent vs. BG with a road games between the two yet to play, Akron's game vs. UMass could be just as dicy, or the easiest of the three, depending on the game Friday.

 

No matter what, would not surprise me to see an upset or two in the MAC Tournament -- and a surprise team in the MAC Final.

I think the top 8 will stay the same, but not necessarily the order. 2 games currently separate the 4 and 8 seed, and tiebreaker can get wild in multi-team ties.

Has anybody looked at parking in the Gateway garage on Seat Geek? I'm seeing $35 even on Wednesday. It used to be $20 or so. The promo code doesn't work for it. WTF? It used to be simple and reasonable.

It has been more expensive ever since Metropolis took over.

Hmm I'm not sure. Every Cavs/Guards game I've been to recently has been expensive.

It's in my SeatGeek purchase history as I remembered.  The price has more than doubled from last year's tournament.

I usually park elsewhere, even if it means having to walk a little extra. Can't bring myself to pay ~$30 to park.

New parking lot ownership has jacked the prices up for every event. Went to a guards game and it was 50 to get in there. Ridiculous

It was always an OK, fan friendly deal to pay $10-20 and not have to search around downtown in traffic to find a cheaper spot. As someone who often goes up all three days, $35 is too much.

I've never actually tried parking their for the MAC Tournament. I'm so used to the ridiculous prices for Cavs, concerts, and other events that I assumed it was just similar. If I knew it was ~$15 in the past I would have considered it.
