Does anyone know the all-tournament team?

I don't, but I feel it's safe to assume Suder won't rob Tavari of another MVP.

Nah, that was a hell of an effort by them. I'll go with cursed.

Multiple double digit leads, large scoring drought, etc. He got completely outcoached in the second half. Whatever you want to call it, that loss is on him.

Toledo fans get to suffer for another year (at least). Pathetic crowd for them by the way.

Groce made a great half time adjustment in that we attacked the basket and stopped relying on the 3 ball that simply was not dropping.  People on this board wondered if the lack of close games would come back to haunt us in Cleveland and we answered that question tonight.  That shot Scott hit tonight was from the same location that he made the shot at the end of the half against Mass.  I sit behind the Mass bench and the Mass coach even told Scott "nice shot"  That shot will go down  as one of the great shots in Zips history.

Last 3 MAC Championship games were 3 of the most exciting sporting events I’ve ever seen live and I’ve seen some dandies.

Hats off to the boys and the coaches. Never panicked and found a way.

Toledo coach said Akron living a charmed life. No Tod, winning cultures win. 1980 Tod …. 1980.

Go Zips!!!

Could have used that a couple times earlier in the season..

Amani didn't appear to have a good game but he did. 15 points and 16 rebounds. And Scott felt like he had a great game but was 5-15 and only 2-8 from three. But man what one of those two threes was. Captain Clutch

I hate Todelo so much. But they did play a hell of a game too. The difference was the character of our guys. Their belief in themselves and a never die attitude. Which is infused into them on a daily basis by our whole coaching staff. That’s part of the culture element. But Groce did also make in game adjustments. One already discussed was to switch back and forth from man to zone defense to slow them down. And finally Tod, to be the best you need to beat the best. There is nothing fluky or charmed about the Akron Zips!!

Amani I don't think had a great first half. Not sure how many of those rebounds were 1st vs 2nd half, but I'm willing to guess ~10 of his 15 points came in the 2nd half. He really stepped it up and was a big reason we got back into it.

Tod with the "get out of my face" LOL

I already gave kudos to Evan, but watch…with 6 seconds left here again his defense slows the ball down. And then he pokes the ball away. Toledo does get a shot off, but it was a frantic heave because of Evan’s disruption.
