Groce made a great half time adjustment in that we attacked the basket and stopped relying on the 3 ball that simply was not dropping. People on this board wondered if the lack of close games would come back to haunt us in Cleveland and we answered that question tonight. That shot Scott hit tonight was from the same location that he made the shot at the end of the half against Mass. I sit behind the Mass bench and the Mass coach even told Scott "nice shot" That shot will go down as one of the great shots in Zips history.

Multiple double digit leads, large scoring drought, etc. He got completely outcoached in the second half. Whatever you want to call it, that loss is on him. Toledo fans get to suffer for another year (at least). Pathetic crowd for them by the way.

I'm surprised Suder didn't win MVP.
-
Tavari might not have played to his standards, but he was working his but off tonight and fatigue was effecting him. He draws a lot of attention out there that frees up the other guys.
-
The MAC website indicates Tavari is the tournament MVP, but doesn't list the all-tournament team.
-
One guy from Toledo, the big guy from UMass, somebody else, Amani, and Tavari
-
I don't, but I feel it's safe to assume Suder won't rob Tavari of another MVP.
-
Does anyone know the all-tournament team?

John Madden once said, "The champion is the champion until he's no longer the champion, and that's what makes him the champion". Normally, this is pure gibberish, but tonight it makes a lot of sense.

Shammah!!!! What a shot! He has been clutch all season. Way to gut out a win after getting off to a rocky start. This team showed a ton of heart, that's what good teams with a winning culture do. Three in a row! Simply amazing. Let's go Zips!!! Can't wait to see where we're seeded.

3PEATTTTTTT
-
Nah, that was a hell of an effort by them. I'll go with cursed.
-
Amani seemed to play much better in the 2nd half. Scott seemed to be pressing a lot and forcing shots up in Cleveland, but he hit what was probably the 2 biggest shots of the weekend.
-
I predict a 12 seed and since Kentucky and Ohio State won't be anywhere near a 5 seed I don't have to worry about that. That was such a tough game for me to watch I can't even imagine it for you guys.
-
Shammah “Big Shot” Scott!!
-
I have to say this before it gets lost in the excitement. Evan Mahaffey has been totally boss lately. His effort and determination was the difference tonight in my opinion. Shammah hit the game winner, but Evan carried us a ton.
