Great win. Really involved crowd. Good student body attendance. Walking around the arena in a Zips shirt you can tell we are their #1 opponent. I'll be back in Alumni arena at 6:30 for the 4th and final night of the MAC Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. We are set up nicely to win our 7th consecutive MAC championship. Big day for the Zips in Buffalo

Season-defining win right there. Playing without your #2 scorer, you go on the road to another country and knock off the former Kings of the MAC by 13 for the first time in 7 attempts. We out-rebounded them by 12, and put up 86 on the road. Outstanding effort, composure, and grit to put that one in the WIN column. Congrats to Groce & company on securing a BYE to Cleveland in just his 3rd season at the helm. The MAC is decently deep this year, so that BYE is HUGE.

As a Zips fan I always wondered what it would be like to have the best guard in the league. Now I know. LCJ for MAC player of the year.

Love our rivalries with Buffalo, Kent, and Ohio. It's pretty awesome having 3 sincere, bitter rivals.

Great win today. I agree with the board that Cheese is most likely a good kid, but he and Banks jaw with the other team all game, every game. It has been a common sight to see the refs have to get between both of them and the other team. Reece was doing this at the start of the season, but he appears to have grown up. Cheese and Banks need to get control of their emotions and act like the seniors they are. This is their last shot at the tourney. We need both of them to have their heads in the game the rest of the way. Go Zips!

On that note, Torrey Patton scored the game winning 3 for CSU the other night. They should be back in the Horizon League Tournament.

Given that Tribble and Dawson are really no more of a threat from the perimeter than Riak is, I wonder if we see any lineups where Xeyrius plays the SF and we play two of Riak/Sayles/Reece at the 4/5. I say this because our floor spacing is going to be screwed anyways, but at least with a lineup of say Xeyrius, Riak, and Sayles we should be able to hold our own in the rebounding department.

Kid has NFL aspirations and obviously has the potential with the offers he's gotten. Going to a P5 school and playing against top competition is better for his future at this point. Would have loved to have him but I can't blame him.
