If the MAC decides to play the tournament without fans, that would be a huge advantage to NIU if we face them. Their players are use to playing in empty arenas ?

Having no fans at the game gives a clear advantage to Miami, who has prepared like this all year.

Yeah. Unfortunate turn of events but I'm sure it wasn't done lightly. Just venting. And this clears things for the players, they can play without worry. We are spoiled here because we have such easy access to the Arena. But it absolutely sucks and any of us would hate ourselves if we brought it home to an elderly loved one.

Cancel MAC Tourney and give Conference automatic bid to the regular season MAC Champs.

Nice of the governor to care about athletes when it comes to the Coronavirus, but not when some schools in the state have to come in contact with KSUcks twice a year...

Yes, the long storied 4 year tradition has been cancelled. I'm sure the Harvard team and their fans are a little upset. They beat Yale 2x this year and they were the ones that were hosting the tournament this year.

You wouldn't see re-seeding for the semi's because of the quick turnaround. The last quarterfinal game may end at near midnight. They aren't going to turn around and make that team play again 17 hours later. That's why the winner of the noon game plays the winner of the ~2:30 game. Both teams get 24+ hours of rest between games.

Central made a run and put Kittens on their heals for a few minutes. One of my rules, never count on a directional Michigan school or the Akron women's team to get the job done.

At this point, NCAA tournament games may follow suit. We may have seen Deng Riak, Marquelle McIntyre, Tyler Cheese, Channel Banks, and Xeyrius Williams play in-person for the last time. THAT is heartbreaking. Those guys are special to be around.

Surprised those weren't flipped Jordyn Dawson had a heck of a year but congrats to both of them. And as typical my complaints for the MAC being a second rate conference once again are realized because their official release contained the sentence "After receiving Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2019, Ohio’s Cierra (Cece) Hooks doubled up on the award in 2020 after another dominate season.." and at the end of the article it mentions that "MACtion moves to Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio beginning Wednesday, March 11th at noon when #8 Akron faces #1 Central Michigan" (sigh)
