This is totally outrageous. Total BS. Granted, I was in FL most of the season, but still made it to 5 home matches while visiting family, and there was absolutely no increase in attendance, at best it was equal? I do say though that Women's soccer seemed to have a better attendance, although slightly, than in past seasons at the 5 matches we attended as well. Thank you TennZip for calling this out. At this rate Mr. McFall and AD Guthrie will have us at 15,000 per game attendance for football in 2024! 😆

Such an enjoyable watch/listen. I'll say it until I'm blue in the face - Groce has a lifetime contract at Akron for as long as he wants to coach. This program will always be in good hands with him. Groce made a point that the University needs to start capitalizing on. We have an OOC game coming up on ESPN2 that will be a terrific time to start. Enrique for 1st Team All America. He is absolutely one of the best players in the country and needs to be marketed as such.

I have highlighted in bold.....the men's soccer words from Seth McFall. While his words are encouraging, I do not agree with his math. See my calculations...below. I am glad that the athletic department....is trying to do new informative articles.....but I feel like I am being misled by Guthrie and McFall "new math"

Ken Carmen is awesome. Anytime a Cleveland radio guy goes after OSU, I'm a fan. Except for Aaron Goldhammer. I HATE that guy more than anyone else on the radio. I think Tony Rizzo went to Ohio, while Jason Gibbs and Jay Crawford are Bowling Green guys. You'd think with that much representation, the MAC would get more love. But Ohio State will aways be king.

She does an awesome job covering Cleveland sports. There are like 4-5 Akron grads all over Cleveland media with multiple on sports talk radio. It's always nice when the Zips get coverage and really wish it happened more. I'd assume their bosses tell them to push OSU as much as possible and keep Akron talk minimal.

I think the combination of Freeman, LCJ and Xeyrius Williams would be an awesome asset to Groce and Company on the recruiting trail. I could see adding Ali and Castaneda too, but the first three are just so well spoken.

With the wild win yesterday, the Chips have moved into 2nd in the country in Luck on KenPom. In MAC play, they're 9th in offensive efficiency, but 2nd in defensive efficiency. Winning a pair of 2OT games in a week is impressive no matter who you are, the Zips won't be able to sleepwalk their way to a win like they have a couple times this year.
