  1. The underlying problem with the JAR is that it was built as a multi-purpose facility. As a result, it doesn't fill any of its purposes very well. The seatback seats are old and beaten as is their support structure. Time for an upgrade and to expand them to both sides, leaving bleachers on the ends.

  2. I wouldn't be opposed to paying for a cushioned chairback as well. I more so brought it up because many complained about ticket prices during the season.

  3. No question. I'm sure there would be a price jump but it might be worth it to have something that resembles a decent arena. One of the reasons I've opted for the GA seating (other than being really cheap) is that the seatbacks aren't any more comfortable than the bleachers.

  4. Chris left the mound with. 3 run lead giving up 1 run in 6.3 innings. That should be good for a W, but I’m headed outside for awhile.

  5. If they do that, that likely means both sides would likely go to reserved seating therefore reserved seating prices.

  6. Brandon Council transferred from UA to the other UA a couple years ago. Auburn a pipeline to Akron...started all the way back in the Bill Muse era. 😄 Tulane has to be crushed that Chambers left them at the alter.

  7. Shocking that the university's debt is higher than its endowment. Had no idea the endowment was less than $300MM. This is not a good situation. Very surprised, also, that Miller allowed the university to operate at a $30MM deficit this fiscal year. I thought he was making more progress than that.

  8. Those ugly blue seats have been around for what 20-30 years at least? It's time for an upgrade regardless all student sections should be bleachers anyway.

  9. Goes to show how badly Auburn is struggling along the OL. In Chambers’ defense, he was solid at RT, but was a bit out of his depth at LT. Good enough to play in the SEC? I’d say no, but apparently Auburn thought differently. I know of another SEC team that is heavily looking at a few linemen from the G5 level that played less than half the season last year and P5 OL that played less than 150 snaps. It’s crazy what some teams are willing to take on the OL at this point in the year.

  10. SIU is about the level I thought our transfers would land. Auburn? Not so much.

  16. The transfer portal OL market is literally crazy. We’ve had guys transfer to Liberty, Auburn, and ECU. Probably missing others, but I thought they all could easily be replaced.
