I think Colin White could be a 3-4 in the MAC. He supposedly has a physical streak in him. This stings Toledo where the fan base wanted him back home. The key now is for White to measure up to his prep credentials as a MAC player.
7' 280 lbs. He could be a problem.
St. Joseph's > Providence > South Carolina > Bowling Green. His production has regressed with every stop but going back to a mid major might revert that trend. Has a jump shot, too.
Akron Athletics just posted this news story

I plan to donate directly to men's soccer. (direct link below) I just wanted to make everyone on this board aware of this important day.
I believe that this is the link that will allow your donation to go 100% to men's soccer.

It looks like he suffered a leg injury his freshman year early on and barely played. It required off-season surgery and he attempted to play last year but never found his groove.
Went to Rally House in Fairlawn today and they had an Akron University shirt. How does that even get approved for sale, the correct name is on the seal on the shirt too. Found it online as well.
Size is the name of the game right now. Cleveland State has added something like 7 guys who are 6'7" or taller. Cincy has added nothing but 6'5"+. Akron is getting bigger at G, added a 6'10" guy for the first time since COVID, and I'd imagine at least one of their remaining spots is filled by a 6'5"+ player.
He put up really good numbers for a sophomore at Saint Joe's, which is the most comparable league to the MAC he's played in. Even his season at Providence looks good on the surface given his rotation player role.
I'm kind of surprised BG could afford him. I don't think he's P4 caliber given his struggle at South Carolina, but he could be all-conference at the mid-major level. I would have thought he'd land at an A10 or AAC type school.
Bettiol was probably the best back to the basket traditional big in the MAC last season. UMass paid him a good amount of money. All that got UMass was an 8th place finish in the MAC and 2nd round finish in MAC tournament.
As you said, money is better spent elsewhere, especially since Ford has shown the ability of developing raw bigs.
I would guess Wilson would start over Head.
Burton/Barre/MMK probably will be a position battle.
I would prefer if we can add another SF/PF, but I would guess Henderson as of now is primary backup for White while also playing a few minutes at SF.
The combos here are a little off I'd imagine and I wouldn't rule out any of the freshman from an impact role until we hear that they're definitely redshirting.
This roster will be competitive with the top half of the MAC. I'd imagine the next 2 additions put us at the top.
