Now that App St has announced their hire, are we the last div 1 to hire a coach?

At the begging of the week with the lack of reports and Mont playing tonight, I was certain it was going to end up being Kehres. With all the names coming from left field the last couple of days I'm not certain of anything other than the clock is ticking. Larry is going to need to put some serious hours interviewing because we can't go deep into next week and not have a staff in place for the early signing day.

Phil at Buffalo

I think your being generous with the 1

I'm surprised at how quiet this search has been. I combed through some Mississippi fan sites today to see if they have said anything about Getsy's name being brought up in our coaching search .... I'm not sure they know he is. lol One surprising note though is they did have a topic on Buffalo talking about their football and basketball seasons. Seemed kinda random.

I believe this is exactly it. They want to get us back for a freeby

we also played an extra money game putting another million in the budget than normal. Then add whatever we get out of Nebraska.

that is a name I was hoping to never see again.

I just heard about this on Sirius. They said if he is saying stuff like this and he is going to look this bad, then he must know he is on his way out at the end of the season. Chuck Martin Victory Rant

I thought it probably would look good in person. I think it just looks weird on tv because of the end zones and trim of the field being green. The grey really dulls everything out and then bam color.

You will have to report how their field looks in person because it doesn't look very good on tv.

wow!! Since I have family that drives up from SC for the Zips home games, I'm going to be expected to drive down there

I was at the game and the crowd was scarce but all those pictures are straight up slander.

we went 1-1 on booth review. No pat on the back this time.

The Zips will finally win the booth review battle at home

I watched their game with BYU. They solely rely on their defense and their line is scary. They don't have an offence. They try to just manage the amount of possessions you get and try to keep you backed up on field position. They only pass because they have to, just to try and open up the run. They did lull BYU's secondary into being out of position a couple of times but the NIU receivers dropped the passes. The game came down to a couple of penalties. BYU was called for pass interference on 3rd down that lead to the only scoring drive NIU had. BYU had a 1st and goal in the 3rd quarter but had back to back false starts that lead to the 2nd FG. NIU is similar to our 2015 team in that they play their own game and let you lose it for yourself.

I think this is a guarantee since Van is the only one not fumbling the ball multiple times right now.

at least the ponchos they had given away are white.

well they set the o/u at 38

I'm really interested in what Vegas decides on the over/under. We hold teams to a low score (23.6 ave) and both teams are the worst in putting up pts in the Mac (Akron 22.4 NIU 17.1). NIU coming off of a game that only 13pts are scored....... Vegas doesn't like to go under 40 and they will probably set it around 44. I would take the under.

As Captain said just walk around lot 9. It's the parking lot in front of the scoreboard. You'll meet all kinds of great Zips fans

I was shocked at the mass exodus of Kent fans sometime after half time with it being tied up. The crowd turned pro-Akron after that (at least vocally). The energy was great on the south side of the stadium and we had a lot of fun.

Wow what an article! I really enjoyed that read.
