Ianello ran this program so far into the ditch, its going to take more than one season to get things going in the right direction. Even though Can't didn't have a winning program for 40 years , they still managed to have quite a few talented players. They finally found a good coach who knew what to do with them and this is the result. Once we get some talent things will get better here too.

I don't blame him for leaving. Even Huggins thought hiring Crawford was mistake. He was right.

In 2005 we backed our way into the MAC championship game by winning just enough games against a weak schedule. If that team had to play this years schedule we do no better than 2nd place in the east.

Because it only takes around 3000 fans per game to be the top program.

That second link says it all. There are so many games available to watch on TV and the net, it's just easier to stay home and watch from the comfort of your own couch.

That's true. But Jackson has a veteran team that returns most of the starters from the team that won the Federal League championship last season. TD has played high level AAU ball the last few years also. I've watched a lot of HS basketball the last 3 years and he looks pretty advanced in regards to his age to me. Time will tell. BTW, nice strawman trying to relate anybody's performance in the 9th grade to Lebron's. I'm also pretty sure that without Lebron, Dru would have not been able to do a lot of the things he was able to pull off as a freshman. I think most of the teams that faced the Irish were more concerned with stopping Lebron than the little skinny guy without the ball.

Big win by the Zips today. I don't know if the video showed it, but this was a really physical game. Lots of hanging and bumping away from the ball and all ignored by the refs. The only negative I came away with today was the lousy free throw shooting. If the Zips had made their Ft's, we win by 7 in regulation. Kretzer was really clutch in OT.

The outcome of this game proves that there is a God!
