Hilltopper

AD doesn't control that budget.

You're over thinking this. There is no conspiracy. The information is out there for anybody to see.

Craig is an interesting guy. He is from Canada and was a hockey player. He is a lot of fun and the players really like him.

You hit the nail on the head! If this situation was somehow the fault of the administration, we would be having the same type of problems in the other programs. Moorhead dropped the ball even though the administration was all over him about this problem. They even hired an outsider firm to help. They offered players the chance to come back and complete their degree for no charge! But the guys we were bringing in didn't care after they left via the portal or after they ran out of eligibility.

I'm just a realist. The new leadership group is serious about stopping the bleeding.

I doubt anybody is going to happy about the meaningful changes that are coming.

The issue is the revolving door of players. Too many players making no progress towards a degree.

It's the head coaches job to make sure the players are holding up their end of the bargain.

The Zips are ineligible for a bowl game this season due to low APR.

Unless someone can show some type of written proof of what these alleged promises were, it never happened. Guthrie bent over backwards to support Moorhead. This year's schedule is proof. Powers that be, wanted him to schedule another pay game but he resisted. Big improvements to facilities were made. At some point, it's up to the coach to deliver.

Patience grasshopper, patience

Cash

Frees up a scholarship for someone who might actually be available to play.

The Mormon's are flush with cash.

So let me get this right. Burns was so dumb that he never bothered to insure his house so he needed a $100k loan from a vendor to repair flood damage to said house?

I just got off the phone with Amani. He is excited about next season and ready to put in the work to take his game to the next level. He is a great kid and a perfect fit for Akron. I would expect his offensive game to take a step forward next season.

Sharks are in the water everywhere looking for opportunities to make some money. One of them convinced her the grass would be more lucrative at some other location. Sad state off affairs in collegiate athletics today.

The judge in the House case just kicked the can down the road again today. There are so many moving parts to this case I'm not sure it will ever be resolved. She suggested a partial settlement to which both sides responded all or nothing. Even if a settlement is reached, the lawsuits and injunctions that will follow are going to render it useless.

https://fordhamsports.com/news/2025/3/29/mens-basketball-mike-magpayo-named-head-mens-basketball-coach-at-fordham-university.aspx He was their first choice all along. Sendy wanted the job in a bad way but had too much baggage. In more ways than you can imagine. Martelli? Why would they hire a guy that the coach they just fired beat in the regular season?

Sendy is not going to Fordham. I guess Fordham is terrible if having triple the budget(or more), a better conference, and a couple of billionaires backing your NIL program is considered terrible.

Because the correct terminology is collective.

Not likely.

Turned out to be more minor than originally thought. Hopefully she should be available next season.
