FYI, this Saturday will not be a game in the traditional spring variety. It will be a controlled practice. There will be no type of scores kept. No blue team vs gold team.

Other tidbits; Our new practice facility and NBA quality locker room are the best in the MAC and rival most P5 programs. What our staff brings to the table in terms of player development and a winning culture makes Akron an attractive landing spot for players wishing to take the next step. To the people on here complaining about the amount of money raised by MBB on the day of giving, I will say the following. You can be part of the problem or you can be part of the solution. Every donation, no matter how big or small will help further the program. Put your money where your mouth is.

Tim Campbell hasn't been the strength coach for MBB for several years no matter what his outdated bio says. Also, please don't feed the trolls.

We will not be playing an OOC schedule like last season. Expect a Dambrot style OOC slate. Too many new pieces to put together before MAC play. Anything less than a 20 win season hurts future recruiting. Winners want to play at winning programs.

As far as our football program is situated right now, I think it is better to undersell now and over perform when things count.

If anybody thinks Jomo is interested I giving anybody a scouting report on this team you are sadly mistaken. With the TP and NIL looming he is going to be tight lipped. I'm sure the spring game will be a bunch of vanilla formations and plays too. You guys will just have to wait until the season starts to see what the team looks like.
